I placed my order as well. Lynn said they're hoping to ship sometime next week. We'll see with the holiday, though...

Hey, I may be getting in on this. When is the deadline to the deal? How late are they accepting money?

I am still waiting for them to respond back with a deadline. I have left another message for them to follow up. As for payment, they're pretty flexible: cc, paypal, check, cash -

I finally got the response from Dallas...
From: <dallaswarpspeed@sbcglobal.net>

Tony:

If you would like to post on the ORG that would be fine, we'll do the =
same price $160 delivered for Y pipes 1989-2001, add a cat for $85.

We'll keep it open for a couple of weeks. If may take several weeks for =
them to receive their pipe but they can call in and give their info.

regards
Dallas
So if you still want one or have any questions - just give them a call. Please note that this deal is only good for 1989-2001 - my apology for the incorrect info on earlier threads.

My guesstimate is that they will need 2-3 weeks when they get your order and payment. BUT any question will be best answered by them.

Sorry it took me so long to reply. TooEasy got the Y-Pipe, B-Pipe and High Flow Cat for $415 shipped. I'm speculating that you can get just the Y-Pipe and B-Pipe combination for $330 shipped but THIS IS ONLY MY ESTIMATE! Please call Warpspeed to find out the actual price and if you don't mind, please post the $ for everyone's information.

Thanks
Tony

GD still on if anybody else interested...

I saw this Group Deal thread and contacted Dallas (of WarpSpeed) directly. He offered the Group Deal price to me and now, I got one coming...wooohooo!

For anyone interested in this GREAT DEAL, contact Dallas directly and update this thread.

Here is part of Dallas' latest response to me:

"We'll probably continue the group buy for a few more weeks. No idea so far as to how many, 20 or so I guess. We'll keep cranking them out as long as there is interest."

I received tracking information last week and should be getting the shipment on 6/9. If you have not received any feedback from Warpspeed you should call them to find out the delivery status.

We'll hold the price until July1.

We'll hold the price until July 1, 2004. Remember to ask for it as it's only good for Maxima.org members.

It is the same models as last time (1989-2001 Maxima's) and includes the same pricing for aluminized steel Y pipes and cats as well. If you have a question just call Lynne toll free 866-801-9338.

I'll be a bit hard to get a hold of as we are doing dirt work and prepping the slabs for our new shop buildings but we have three people working on pipes and such so there should not be too bad of a wait. I know we have shipped some already.

As always gaskets and fasteners are included.

We may add some 2002 and 2003 Y pipes late this month, we'll have the usual 2-1/2" collector or a 2-1/4" version in case like Cat*man you believe smaller is better.

regards
Dallas

That's correct. Call them direct and mentioned that you're a member of maxima.org to receive the group deal price.

That all depends on you and your car. Even though my CEL is not registering any error codes, I'm going to replace the O2's anyways when I do the y-pipe install because I'm at 98K. I've read somewhere that the life expectancy of an O2 sensor is around 100K.

How much do they normally run for?

As I stated above that's entirely up to you. I'm replacing mine as preventative maintenance and hoping that it'll increase fuel economy. I paid ~$60 each through GD - if you search under the GD section you'll find the thread. Hope that helps.

Yea, I think I am going to get them. I am just not sure which ones to get though. I have a 98 cali spec and am planning on ordering the ypipe.

I received mine 4 days ago. I'm now recording my 0-60 and 1/4 mile times before I get the y-pipe installed. I want to see how much performance gains I'll get after its installed.
