GD: AE Pedals

I was wondering if anyone ever started a GD for the AE pedals with the dead pedal, for AT or MT. Is there any interest in this or has it already been done. Sorry for the repost if it is one.

I'd be interested if they can be made to fit a 98. Also i'd be down for a 350z dead pedal.

Just an FYI, JR Nissan has them as a kit for a good price. You might want to try that route.

There is another dealership that has the same package assembled. I will find a link and post it.

INFO for interested parties:

These pedals ill fit 4th and 5th gen maximas. The 350Z/G35C dead pedal matches this set AND will fit in the deadpedal area on the maxima/i30. The pedals are known as the 350Z/G35C pedal set or the AE pedal set. They are one in the same. Normally the pedals are sold seperately, but some dealers have developed packages. Some of the packages are already "discounted" for org members (no additional discount), whereas others have a 25-30% savings on top of the package price.

Feel free to ask me any questions. I am willing to talk to the dealership that I know of to try to get a special org discount price if there is enough demand.

I emailed the dealership about GD pricing...right now the AT or MT set is $70 with the deadpedal.

They are on the west coast, so I may call later today.

Whole pedals. Original rubber pads come off and these go right on the pedal arm. Gas pedal has the hingepoint and everything.

JR nissan has these for about $46 PLUS the cost of the deadpedal. I cannot find it on the site. He took the package off of the specials page. I can email and try to see if he will re-post it.

The $46 is for an MT setup- AT may be a bit cheaper, but again it is not on the site.

The wholesale parts manager for the dealer has emailed me back and said that he will be posting special discounts/promotions for the org as soon as he works them up and registers here.

Here is the email from Pinnacle Nissan:

The pedal kits on a group buy would be as follows:

350/G35 M/T $67.95
Kit includes brake, clutch, accel, dead pedal and clips and bushings. $12.00 can be subtracted for the dead pedal if not wanted.

350/G35 A/T $52.95
Includes brake, accell, dead pedal and clips and bushings. Subtract $12.00 for the dead pedal if not wanted.

This price would be good on 10 or more sets. Any quantity less would be slightly higher. The kit on the website did not include the dead pedal. It has been updated to reflect the dead pedal.

Thanks

Yes.

BTW, here is a link to 2 more ways to get to their parts site. You can call and just follow the directions from the email that I posted.

I thought I saw somewhere that you had to shave down the dead pedal to get it to fit properly?

I do not believe so, but I could be wrong.

This may be the case on 5th Gens, but 4th Gens have not reported this to the best of my knowledge.

First off, props to phenryiv1 for doing some research.

I missed the Jerry Rome special in April due to cash constraints. I also talked to Courtesy. It's $60.22 for AT and $78.79 for MT with .org discount + applicable shipping.

phenryiv1, so the final price is what you posted plus $3.95 shipping. That's pretty good!

You have to call to get the discount unless he posts a special code for us. If you want to order directly at the regular price you can use the main site, but I woudl contact him for more info.

I have heard a lot of good things about this dealership from 240sx guys, so I am trying to give maxima owners another dealer outfit.

There you go!

BTW, obviously the pic above of the manual pedals did not include a pic of the deadpedal on a manual, but it is the same fit as the deadpedal on an auto.
