I just got off the phone with Matt from GTP (importfan.com) not to long ago, i asked him about a price on the carbon fiber hood. He said that the original price is 399 + 120 for the shipping. I asked him what can he do on getting me 2 of them, and he said 450 each and that's shipped. And then i asked him what if i was to post a group deal and get like 20 to 30 peps, and then he was like " yea then i can cut u guys even a better deal".

Ok so the only way to do this is to get a list made of everyone who wans one and turn it into him and then he will give us the best deal that he can get.....depending on how many people we get.

I told him i would have the list to him in about 2 weeks, but i will keep him updated by the end of the first week so he can get us some sort of a price depending on how many people we have then.

So who ever wants one please post ur name and ur loc. This is the best carbon fiber that they have for our cars soo far, it has rolled edges and it double sided so if we can get around 30 peps we can possibly get the price down to around 380 to 400 shipped. I just got my hood from GTP for 292 + shipping. And it wasn't a group deal. Got it from raceonusa.com. i think they raised their prices though, but i got it from them on ebay for 292.

Beware of gap on GTP hood on a 96. Not saying the hood isnt good quality not at all I have one myslef, It just had a gap above headlights. But hey its all good hood pins and some eyelids take care of problem

 

Yes, I have the hood as well. After having the hoods for a few months I am becoming slightly more disappointed.

Fitment for the most part is decently good, There is a gap above the headlights, possibly caused be my cefiro's. The Rolled Edges are another plus. Finally, the fact that it weighs 19.5 pounds.

However my hood has imperfections some in the clear coat and some underneath in the actual carbon fiber. here also seems to be scratches and some sort of a "Stain" that is fairly large. If I was to purchase again I would probably spend a little more and go with Fiber Images hood.
