4th gen GD on GTP carbon fiber hoods!!!!
I just got off the phone with Matt from GTP (importfan.com) not to long ago, i asked him about a price on the carbon fiber hood. He said that the original price is 399 + 120 for the shipping. I asked him what can he do on getting me 2 of them, and he said 450 each and that's shipped. And then i asked him what if i was to post a group deal and get like 20 to 30 peps, and then he was like " yea then i can cut u guys even a better deal".
Ok so the only way to do this is to get a list made of everyone who wans one and turn it into him and then he will give us the best deal that he can get.....depending on how many people we get.
I told him i would have the list to him in about 2 weeks, but i will keep him updated by the end of the first week so he can get us some sort of a price depending on how many people we have then.
So who ever wants one please post ur name and ur loc. This is the best carbon fiber that they have for our cars soo far, it has rolled edges and it double sided so if we can get around 30 peps we can possibly get the price down to around 380 to 400 shipped. ask him if we can get a batch made without windshield-washer holes in them... i'm in AZ so i say screw the winshield washers. i dont think i've had fluid in the reservoir since i've had the car

Yes, I have the hood as well. After having the hoods for a few months I am becoming slightly more disappointed.
Fitment for the most part is decently good, There is a gap above the headlights, possibly caused be my cefiro's. The Rolled Edges are another plus. Finally, the fact that it weighs 19.5 pounds.
However my hood has imperfections some in the clear coat and some underneath in the actual carbon fiber. here also seems to be scratches and some sort of a "Stain" that is fairly large. If I was to purchase again I would probably spend a little more and go with Fiber Images hood.

ok guys i just spoke with matt at GTP and if we can get 2 more people...that's 6 peps, then we can get the hoods for 320 + shipping which is 120 so 440 shipped, and if there is like 2 people getting their hoods shipped out the the same location it would be 40 off the total shippin for each additional. so come guys post up and lets get this deal going.

lets wait a while (2 weeks or so) so we can have more people jump on this GD and get the price even lower. its only been on for 4 days and we already have enough ppl to get a discount so i expect more to join if we give them time
also could you ask him if there's a discount if you have it shipped to a commercial adress cause they usually tag on $20-$30 when you ship such bulky items to a resedential adress... if i can get someone else here in AZ to get one we could just have them ship it to SWA and save mad cash
oh yea did you ask about getting some made w/o the windshield washer holes?

sorry guys, i haven't bin able to get a hold of Matt at GTP but i will do that tomorow and il let u all know what is going to go on with the price, he said that he had 6 hoods in stock ready to be shipped out and il see if he can get anymore but if there is too many people i can give up my hood to anyone that wans it.

First of all, thats for a 350z, second if it is available for the max what brand is it?

The GTP hood is a nice hood.
