Do these pads come with a "brake hardware kit" that has the shims, clips, and anti-squeal? Or do I need to purchase that separately?

If the kit is not included, do you carry the kit?

The pads come with new shims and a small tube of brake lube. I can get you the Raybestos hardware kits that fit 95-99 maximas which includes just the anti rattle clips for front and rear for an extra 30 dollars. I dont have any of the front hardware kits in stock right now but I am going to place an order to Raybestos today since I am also in need of more pads because I am sold out of rear pads.

Since I am out of rear pads and nearly out of fronts everyone who hasnt been contacted yet will have a short wait until the new shipment of pads comes in.

Also, here is an uploaded copy of our line card which includes everything I can get, It is a very large jpeg file so beware if you are on 56k.
Click here to view our line card.
I can ship most items besides some chemicals and I cannot ship any ACDelco products. Just shoot me a pm or email if you are looking for any other parts and want a price.

This is from personal experience. I too had problems with the OEM rotors and wanted to get good pads and rotors. I bought all 4 Power Slots and put Raybestos up front and OEM's in the rear. Everyone in the 5th gen forum had positive remarks about them. I unfortunately haven't had the same experience. They seemed fine for the first month or so. They are absolutely incredible when it comes to dust. Very little dust at all. They are much louder than stock and the bite is almost identical to stock. I'm getting brake fad after they heat up as well. They squeal under light braking, but don't squeal under heavy braking. I can't really explain loud other than say they kinda drone. Part of this may be the slotted rotors.

Even though I have had a negative experience with the Raybestos Pads, we all need to thank the people that go out of their way to help us get the lowest possible prices for our car parts and accessories.

Rear Pads for 1995 Maxima

I'd like to order the rear pads for my 1995 Maxima. No kit. Let me know how I can pay you by credit card.

How long do you expect the wait to be? (I realize you are out of stock at the moment)

Thanks for the great deal!

TrackSmart, check your PM.

Just to let everyone else know, I should receive more pads by mid next week so I should be able to start shipping again either thursday or friday next week as long as the pads arent on backorder or there is some other delay. Everyone can keep placing orders, they will be filled as soon as possible.

Thanks

-Steve

From what I have read, Brembo Slotted are the best rotors to pair with these. Fortunately we can get those in a GD as well. Here is the link

Power Slot user

I paired my QS's with Power Slot rotors and have nothing but praise for the dynamic duo! At the time of purchase, Brembo all where X-drilled and didn't make a slotted rotor ( I read about the problems with X-drilled rotors). If I were to replace both front and back rotors, I might consider Brembo's slotted/dimped, but I've been more than happy with my setup.

I have QS's on my car and they have to be the worst pads I have ever had. They fade to quick, if you are in constant stop and go traffic forget having to slam on the brakes in an emergency, and they are loud as hell.

I am interested in getting these for my 99 max but is the "brake hardware kit" really a necessity or can they be installed without that?

The brake hardware kit is not necessary to install these pads. Unless your anti rattle clips are broken or bent you dont need it. If you want them let me know and I can get them out to you once the new stock arrives. More pads should be arriving tomorrow so keep the orders coming!!

I would like a set of both fronts and rears for a '97. I'll pay via PayPal.

All other pads I've tried suck. Raybestos are the best.

What does autozones brake kit consist of. The ones we sell only come with the anti rattle clips and I can offer you the pair of fronts at 12 dollars since we charge $6 per side. Is the $6 at autozone for both sides?

I can do the Raybestos front brake kit at $6 per side ($12 for both sides) and the rear brake kits $9 per side ($18 for both sides) for the rears. Dont ask me why the rears are so expensive. Thats why I am charging $30 for the front and rear brake kits.

If you want the pads from me just give me a call. Thanks.

Wow. Forums back online.

got my brake pads quickly and they were in perfect shape.

barely audible noise (had to open windows and be driving slowly just to hear it) for first few miles.

Now they are completely silent. Very satisfied.

Thanks!
