Just recieved my stage 3 Spec.. Putting it in tomorrow

 

To all that are looking to order from Justin, I' had great service through the entire process. I was in a pinch last week and needed a clutch kit quick, and justin had one sent out of the distribution center two day so I could get it before this past weekend. I ordered the Exedy Stage One. Thanks again Justin.

I only had one issue thats not even in Justins control though, Exedy and or the Distributer Boxed up the wrong throw out bearing. I'll take pictures of the wrong one so everyone can avoid tearing their tranny apart, then needing to find a new bearing.

 

I have an Spec Stage 1 that just went out Last Sat. after under a year of ownership. My throwout bearing went bad. I did not install this myself so, I wonder if the tech who installed it would of been able to recognize an incorrect throwout bearing.

Is there anyway to get another throwout bearing from Exedy as opposed to sending the entire clutch in and being carless for over 2 weeks?

 

to you all who's replacing clutches, better also replace your rear main seal. it's a cheap part to do while your tranny is off. after you put everything back and that seal leaks, you'll call BS all year long...

i think all the aftermarket clutch kits give you the wrong TO bearings period...

spec gave me the wrong sized TO bearing too. it was way too big. lots others discussed this on the org, too. don't know why they are doing that...
