i definately need a new muffler...mines got holes rusted right through it.

anyway, i want something really quiet...a tiny bit sportier than the stock one is the most i will settle for. nothing that buzzes or disrupts your hearing acuity on acceleration.

i like how the new FX's and the Z/G35s sound, but I guess i wont be able to match it exactly...but something like that is great (or like the Diamante VR-X or bmw 330s...something sporty yet conservative). help me choose a muffler from your list that can meet these requirements (by the way, i already have a y pipe and bpipe on there that are brand-new, but from budget...so no catbacks for me).

The smaller HKS Hi Power muffler would probably be less loud then the others.

Thanks

honestly, i really need an exhaust, but i want to make sure its not loud, etc, and so far it doesnt seem like you've got much experience with your mufflers on maximas/i30s?

Sorry we don't have too many Maximas around here and I can't really tell you how it sounds.

Anyone out there got any of the systems we have on sale on their car and have an opinion on it?

OK,
I am interested since my pipes from the cat, the resonator and back to the muffler has a few holes. I also have a blown y-pipe. So the question is, do you carry any y-pipes and replacement pipes in stainless back to the OE muffler? The factory muffler looks fine. Also, I won't stand for "bees in a can" sound and am not looking for a loud muffer, just a bump in HP and sporty sound. What can you suggest?

I have a GREDDY EVO2 on my Eclipse V6 and everyone loves the way it sounds. They always say thats not loud and it sounds awesome. The EVO2 has a nice deep tone to it instead of the Civic sound.

OK, but do you have a Y-pipe? I did a quick fix with sheetmetal over the blown steel mesh but don't expect it to be permenant. I am looking for a package deal here for the Y-pipe and Cat-back, let's make a deal!

We haven't had anyone say they don't fit well. They look pretty good, I don't have any pictures of them but there may be one on the Pacesetter site.

I have a Apexi WS cat back with a y pipe on my 96 max and it sounds great, very quiet under ~3400 RPM. Conservative driving you barely know its there.

I'll really be interested in the Apexi when you actually have them in stock. I'm not feeling dishing out $400+ for a product that you don't even have yet.

Better yet just post what you have in stock now and put an expected arrival date of when you will have the items that are not in stock currently.
