VQ 30 and 35 4th and 5th gen Stainless Steel Clutch lines !!
Fyi, i bought this cable in the first batch and just found time to install it. i did it last nite and i must say, it's a PITA to get to the lower section. it's a tough area to fit your hand. i will say this, it became 100x's easier by removing the upper radiator hose. yes some antifreeze will spill out, but who cares. just add some more to your reservoir tank. removing that and the intake opens up lots of space.
anywho, i replaced it and by the time i had done it, the clutch fluid had emptied, so i had to bleed it. because we were trying to use the bleeding kit, it didn't work as easy. i'll be honest, it is much easier the old fashioned pump n release method. once we switched to that method, it was done in 15 minutes.
and now, the feedback. i can only say there is one improvement over the OEM line. my problem prior to this was that my engage point changed all the time. now it doesn't. in one day i have noticed that my clutch disengages at the exact same point everytime.
one adjustment i have to get used to as well is my disengagement point is higher now. i assume this to be because the rubber OEM line, by expanding, allowed the clutch to disengage earlier, but now with a tight cable, it takes more of a release to disengage it. hope that makes sense. it's not a bad thing, just something that has been noticed. good luck with your installs.

Hey Derrick my clutch just went out this morning and I'd need to replace it this weekend. I wanted to see if I can order a line today and have it here by this weekend. I can pay overnight or two day fees as well. Thanks

Yes. I paid on November 17th and have not received my ss line yet.

Im half tempted to cancel my order and do a chargeback in paypal. We have up to 3 weeks to do so and I'm on my second week of NO item, NO email from Derrick, NO post here from him, NO communication of any kind in regards to my order when he solicited feedback from us in this thread just recently.
I'm giving it another day and then will do a chargeback if I dont hear from him.

I understand your concern but derrick has sold probably 100 of these lines since the deal started and he's not out to screw people. Maybe he had a family emergency or something like that. But yeah, two weeks is a long time to be incommunicado if you're running a deal like this.

i am not trying to screw any one here! Here is an update though:
I printed out some shipping labels on the 22nd of November and emailed tracking #'s to everyone. I also sell lines on the 240 forums, and at the time i had a mistake in my inventory and was actually out of lines. i ordered another set immediately and posted on the 240 forums that i would be slightly delayed on the next shipment. in my mind i thought that i had already posted on the org also, but i didn't.
I have been responding to pms and emails, but many emails have been blocked with the reply "your email has been selected by our system as spam and is being filtered". you guys gotta turn this off or something.. i can't get through!
Anyways, sorry for the lag but all orders have shipped out, and if you paid within the last 4 days they are shipping out on this coming Monday. Thank you for your patience!
And you will be receiving emails when I send the lines out... along with tracking #'s. Please be patient guys, and I do sincerely apologize for that delay, the miscount in inventory was entirely my fault.

I started the proceedings on Sat morning with paypal for a chargeback.
Saturday late afternoon the part was in my mailbox. Date on the package was 11/28. I paid on 11/17, 11 days earlier.
I have since cancelled my chargeback with paypal.
On a side note, the only spam filters my mailbox has are if you are sending a virus and it recognizes it. Then it still forwards the email onto me and tells me its infected and quarantines it. I did not receive a pm nor an email from Derrick.
Thanks for the part, will put it on when the temp goes above freezing.
