Best deal ever on TOKICO Illumina 95-03

I located a dealer for these struts. The best deal that i have seen on the org/ebay was 435 shipped; however this company known as

http://www.performancepeddler.com

can give it to us at 408 shipped thats right 408 shipped. This deal is only good if we have 10 or more people( doesnt matter what year). You can contact them at 1-866-399-4215 and for feedback check ebay under the sn of PerformancePeddler. They have great feedback. THe guy u want to talk to is BRAD he was very helpful and very kind. I think we can get 10 peeps. Just post what year, and your sn then once we get 10 or more People, Brad will give me a wholesale code that we can punch in on his website that will allow us to get them at 408 shipped.

thanks

I got these on my 2000 using stock springs. They are great. They are adjustable--setting goes from 1 to 5, with 1 being the softest (most damping) and 5 being the stiffest (least damping, faster bouncing/movement). I think I got mine for $425 shipped last February from jdmwerks off eBay.

What are your shocks set at with stock springs? I'm thinking of staying stock for a while. Thanks!

I change 'em around once in a while, but I have a pretty good feel for the settings.

Right now I'm at 4/5 -- most sporty, stiffest, quickest bounce. Car feels very well planted and controlled on the highway.

Typically I used to run 2/3 -- softer, feels "floaty" at higher speeds (50+), but generally the landing when hitting a bump is softer.

I also suggest setting the rears 1 step higher like I do (4/5 with 4 in the fronts, 5 in the rear, 2/3 likewise) because IMHO it feels better. The car's rear suspension straightens things out faster with its axle-beam, and the front feels more stable since it's at a softer setting. IMHO it gives you the sensation that the suspension is doing its thing, but yet you still feel comfortably in control.
I've tried it at 1/1, 2/2, 3/3... I don't like it. The extra front-end "dive" annoys the hell out of me.

Thanks for the info! I guess the 4th generation Max is a little lighter and might react differently than a 5th generation. I might be able to run mine at 3/4 or something. Thanks again

Used H&R will riun you around $125; new close to $200.

Try Tein H-Techs- they are reputed to be a LOT like H&Rs. I just goot mine yesterday and am about to install them.
