This is what Eddie stated to me. He normally sells them for 66.00 plus 6.00 shipping anywhere. He said for the GD he'll sell them for 66.00 Shipped. I didn't see the free shipping on the website before. I've already ordered mine on Monday, on it's way to me right now. But whoever else calls to order, please inquire about that, I wouldn't mind getting 6 bucks off.

Silvia - not too late to join, just call the number and speak with Eddie.

That looks like compared to the real ones.
No gloss at all, but not bad for the price I guess.
Heres mine.....

These are real CF from IonicDynamics.

Mine are from Ionicdynamics.
They are true cf cutouts.

No adhesive on them, no plastic coating either like the dash kits.
They come premolded to the pillar, you just need to apply them with a type of adhesive. I used epoxy.
They are the exact same material as the hoods, trunks and body kits.

As far as I now, no. If you have enough people interested Jose at Ionic may make them. At the moment, he is kinda hard to get a hold of.
Never hurts to try.

Well Jose never called me back like he promised, but it doesn't matter anyways, we've set this gd up with wood-dash.com. BTW, I just got mine tonight, and they are sweet. I'm liking the gloss, just see how they'll fit this weekend. Get in on the deal guys for those that are looking for this. I think it was worth it.

preesh,

Who said they were?
I just posted some pics of mine from Ionic.
Those pillars you got from wood dash look nice but I hope their UV coated. By the looks of them, their made from the same material as the dash kits. If they are and not UV coated they will turn yellow in time.
I had some similiar to that and they turned. They had a soft clear coating with a 3m adhesive backing, just like the dash kits have.
heres how they looked originally

They lasted for a while, maybe 6mo. and then slowly turned from a light yellowish to a full on dirty goldish brown color.

Thats IF they arent UV coated cant u UV coat them ureself with some kinda spray or UV protecting product?

and u must have gotten them from ionic a long time ago because i know of 3 or 4 ppl who still didnt get their product....

"Since most of the transparent or translucent plastic packaging materials offer little to no UV light filtering, this leads to increased products’ exposure to UV light.

Incorporated in transparent rigid or flexible packaging, Ciba® SHELFPLUS® UV-Filter will protect the content from the UV light damage and offer solutions meeting the market requirements."

shelfplus is a product that can be use for this....just a spray u apply once in a while....

maybe autozone has some other kind of transparent UV protection....thanks for the heads up

So, are the wood-dash CF pillars UV coated? I really don't want to mess with "spraying"the pillars to prevent them from yellowing. I was going to order this am, but I need to verify this info before I order.

It will help, but wont completly eleiminate the yellowing. The yellowing is an effect of the pillars also getting warm. Im in Texas so you may not have this effect. But i know of others that had it happen to them. Some applied a UV coating wax and still had it occur.
Some CF hoods have it happen to them as well.
Yeah, I know about Ionics slow shipping process.
I didnt have any issues with the shipping of my pillars, but other items.

LOL their not subjected to direct sunlight.
They do go through intense heat though, and Ive seen some dash kits crack.
Thats is why the majority of kits you see for the max have that two piece design on the ac control area.
But im just throwing in my 2 cents based on previous experiences, these pillars may be UV coated. I dont know.
Im just posting a heads up.
If you feel you have more experience with them, or know more about them so be it.

With all honesty if you haven't purchased anything from me then you shouldn't be posting that type of comments... What do you mean about knowing about three or four people that haven't gotten their part, that's ridiculous.

The issue that I have with MAXecutive isn't that I haven't shipped out a product that I have ready to produce, the issue is that he wants a particular style of eye lid (one piece design) and the mold that I had didn't work and he preferred to wait instead of taking a refund (I offered him one). The mold has been harder to make than what we expected, to the point that the two piece mold that we had is unusable and we have had to make a new prototype. During this time that we have been working on those eye lids I damaged one set of molds, I got car jacked in my maxima, and have had a lot of problems. I am about to post on the general forum what happened to me this past sept the 13th. I had to get the front end of my car fixed due to the damage that it received while it was stolen. Rest assured that he will receive his part.

Thanks!

Jose, I know that you offered me a refund, I appriciated that, but I refused it because I really wanted the CF eyebrows. I know it will take some time to make them, the first set took you about 2 weeks to make, so I calculated that no longer than a month's time, I would have my new set and return the first ones. I had no idea that it will take this long, I understand you got into some problems, but I still want my eyebrows.

Please finish and ship them out to me as soon as possible

Thanks,
MAXecutive

Youl'll get your items, I can vouch for that.
Like Jose stated, hes having issues with the molds.
You guys need to understand that when parts are being custom made they take a while. Its not like these parts are being mass produced by a big manufacturer.
If you didnt care to wait, he offered you the refund (which you passed up). Now patience is the key.
If your looking for a custom made part, but have no patience then you should probably just forget about it.
This is one of the main reasons no one cares to make parts for the maxima guys. No patience and everone wants them to be cheap.

Jose, got the tracking number from fed ex.
Thanks!
