i live in massachusetts, i want HID bulbs, and was thinking this is a great deal, but here we have yearly inspections (30 bucks pass or fail) and i need hi/lo beams. period. what can I do... umnitza...


p.s. i love the look of 6Kk and up.... impossible? how would i do that w/out projectors

give us a LITTLE time, if you have H4s, we have those NOW, if you need 9004, those are coming.

 

i'm sorry, i'm a little lost, i have h4's, but those are hi and low right? you have those now in true hid? how is that possible?

 

i got the 5000K x-tec H3 from them and it has a definite blue hue. no purple. i had the same idea that i didn't want the 6000K because i don't care for the slight purple hue. i prefer blue hue as well. this worked out very well for me.

sorry, i don't have any but like i said, the hue is blue and it looks great in the fogs.

 

im not sure but do all HID bulbs fit for all HID kits as long as it's the same bulbs size? if so do you sell just the 9004 5k bulbs?

 

I'm confused on how the hi/low 9004 hid works actually. How does it work? I was under the impression a hi/low HID only works if you have projector housing (to move some type of plate/shield to reflect the light higher, inside the actual projector).

How will a 9004 hi/low HID get "brighter" when using high beams in reflector style housing?


EDIT: I found this while searching the net.

"HID-Plus BI-Xenon conversion kit is a High / Low Beam kit that is for dual beam applications ex: H4 9003 9004. The Kit comes in either 4300k or 5200k and gives you Low beam HID and HIGH beam HID. The technology is a moveable scoop that surrounds the HID capsule and changes the optics in the headlight housing causing light to be cast as if they were high beams. "

Ours is an actuator that moves the bulb out and up, not just up and down.

D2R is ONLY for 2002 and 2003 cars with HID.

 

What do you have left for D2R bulbs? and how do your colors look on them...i've seen same kelvin rating(both d2r) from different brands in person and they look different. i know thats just how it is but it's hard to decide when you dont know what they gonna look like
