I'm trying to understand how the hi/low kit in 9004 form works before I make a purchase. I tried getting this answer from a number of places and it seems that no one really knows at all(people that are selling these bulbs tend to avoid the question, maybe its a stupid question i dunno, but I would like some feedback), and its quite disturbing that I'm willing to spend some money and cant get a striaght answer from anyone. Since I've never asked you Umnitza and you seem like a reputable dealer, can you answer my question?? How does 9004 hi/low kits work?? Is it plug and play, do I have to change out any wires, harnesses is it a 9004 bulb, or some other kind of bulb. Are their shields, halogen high beam and xenn low beam in one?? And lastly how much are we talking about and when are you expecting them in(if you know) I would really appreciate it. THANKS!!

another screwup....the harness wires were swapped. you said you'd tell your manufacturer to switch them. i guess your quality control is nothing like you say it is. im not doing business with you again.

Vendor bashing is easy isn't it.
But actually letting us solve your problem is not that easy. Easier to go bash someone for having a defect in a product than it is to just send it back and get a new one.

We tested it here with a connector that would work. It worked, the pins were not in the right alignment apparently, even though we tested it.

Don't do business with us, I'm sorry about the troubles, but it's not indicative of all our products.

We've taken an extra step with ALL the information we've received and all new ones are being sent with the pins UNATTACHED so that if your connector is one way and someone else's is another, just put the pins in the way you need it.

obviously its easier to bash but its more difficult to get to the post office on time constraints and send something back, and then have to pay for it on top of that.

im a realist, i do believe things go wrong, but you didnt mess up once, you messed up twice, and its not conceivable that it was a msitake. When i did talk to you, you told me "oh that shipment dindt come in". so it was okay to send me something else than what i ordered??? i wouldve gladly waited on the X-tecs to come in, what made you think i wanted prolumen. on top of that when someone else informed you about the fact that the wires were reversed, and you told everyone it would be taken care of and they would be rechecked, THE PINS WERE STILL CONNECTED.

im sure you have great products but please be more sensitive to your customers needs. i did install the HID and its light output is great, so i wont bash the product. i've also noticed that you get defensive at anything negative, fix your attitude, learn to take fault and stop trying to turn it back at me, i work hard for my money and i expect quality assurance.

Shouldn't this be done via PM or email?? That said, everyone knows of Umnitza's great customer service. Any time I have had a problem Umnitza has always helped me out and have been prompt about it. Sorry for ranting but I hate it when people publicly bash GREAT vendors. Do it via email if you have a problem.

i'm letting everyone know the flaw in the kit connectors, and how to fix it...everything else was just a bonus.

Umnitza,

I’m contemplating purchasing a H4 Xtec or Higher quality kit.

Can you give me a price on a H4 6000k Kit Shipped?

I read through all of the postings and comprehended most of the information (I think ). I presume that this GD is still going on.

I'm interested in the HID conversion kit for 9004 with hi/lows 4300K or 5000k, preferably with the Hella balasts.

Is the cost $325 shipped plus 8.25% tax for us Californians?

Is this kit available yet?

hi, umnitza.

do you have anything in stock for a 2k1 maxima (h4)? I'm looking for 6k kelvin range, a regular or hi/lo kit to get a range of the pricing + shipping

I would also like to know the bulb and ballast manufacturer you will be selling to me along with warranty information. Thank you

hey umnitza, i've got the kit Prolumen 6000k 9006. and the light output seems more like 4100k because once its burning at normal temperature.....the color turns OEM white....with hardly any signs of blue. So i don't know if you send me the wrong color or it's supposed to be white for 6000k. ANyways, i've only installed the kit on one side because i'm having trouble figuring out where to mount the ballast and how to mount it. So the side thats installed, i just left the ballast hanging in the engine compartment. Any help on mounting the ballast will be appreciated. Thanks.

latest date is that they are being developed at the same time as the 9007 and H4 solenoid HID, so it's May 12th or thereabouts

Let's make it happen.

Additionally, we don't run Group Buys like other vendors. There is no waiting. You have a special time frame to order, you just order. We always give you the product even if you have to wait an extra 2 weeks to get it.

However, once the product price is gone, it's gone. So you have 2 choices for purchase- with purchase terms segmented below:

1) Existing D2S purchases are on the site - just proceed through checkout.
Here: D2S BULBS HERE
2) ALL HIDS must be paid for in this ways:
a)
  1. Paypal@umnitza.com - be specific - [b]Name, SHIP TO ADDRESS MUST BE VERIFIED, Phone Number, Bulb Type (H3 etc.), Bulb Color (5000K, 6000K)
  2. Phone call - 925 - 922 - 5777 -
  3. Email - You can email us your required bulb types and colors via info@umnitza.com - if you are sending sensitive information like your payment terms please do so in the following manner 1st Email: CC #, 2nd Email: Full Name, Shipping/Billing Address, Phone Number, Expiration of Card, 3rd Email: 3 digit security code on the back.

Taxes DO APPLY IF YOU ARE IN CALIFORNIA

Please post her.

We will offer you a $ depending on what you need here.

Hello umnitza, I have a 97 Nissan Maxima GLE. It takes the 9004 bulb. I was wondering how does the Prolumen kits that you sell compare to other kits such as Helios kits. Aslo, whats the best lumens / most blue light kit that I should get?
