HID bulbs will outlast many pairs of PIAAs. It's usually the ballast that fails.

You mean you have a kit with D2R bulbs? Did you buy this kit separately or it came stock with the car? The harness can be used regardless of bulb type. As I stated previously, D2R and D2S bulbs are practically identical except for the pasted on shield on the D2R. Also Ammi, please email your full name, address, daytime phone number, and type of harness you need to ubrightlights@aol.com.

I listed all that info on paypal. Do you still need it?

I guess my question was if 2k2-2k3 Maximas with factory HIDs would need to upgrade their harness.

I am a newbie to hids, any of you guys would know how much a shop would charge to put it in for me. Depending on that, I will think about getting the 5300k ones.

Sorry man didnt see it. No, cars that come with HIDs stock already have upgraded materials to handle the necessary power.

Only the Fogs are 6000K? What are the headlights? Looks good tho. I'm confused now too. I thought 4th gens could only use H4's, not D2R's. Are D2r's better or something and do you still maintain the High Beam like Bi-Xenon H4s?

My headlight bulbs are D2R Kops 7000K. I have separate bulbs for high beams. D2Rs are only low beams.

Yes, we have 5300k available. Thats our lowest rated kit. But it does put a tremendous amount of light.

Ok I am interested in this GB but I have a question first. I have the 9004 setup and I would like to convert to a H3. Is this hard to do? What supplies will I need to do this. I just want to have the Hi/Low setup. Also, do you have any discounts for purchasing 2 kits at once? I would like an H3 for my lights and H4 for my fogs.

Hey Anton, do you have headlights that accept an H3 bulb? Im guessing thats how your planning on doing the conversion. If thats what you would like to do, we can give you a hybrid kit with 9004 ballasts, but H3 bulbs. This way youll keep your entire system plug and play. Everything youd need to make this install possible will be provided by us. Im a bit confused what you mean by the Hi/Lo setup. If you get aftermarket projectors with an H3 low beam than im guessing it will already have a built in high beam. PM me for a price quote.

Yamehoo, my partner shipped it out on the 26th, he cant find the tracking number though. Are you sure they havent tried to deliver it to your house and you werent home? I remember you telling me that you wanted it delivered to you work place. Maybe youve received a slip from the post office saying you werent home? Im 100% it went out on the 26th by way of 2-3 day priority. You should be getting it quite shortly.

Mike, I didnt receive any notice from the post office at all. If he shipped on 26th by usps, it should be here already. So please double check with your partner.

Yes, that is correct. Your high beam function will be non-functional if you dont buy the dual beam kit.
