Also how do you paint them....Im a painting noob...Do I need to scuff (sand) up the plastic and then paint it or just primer and then paint?

 

Ideally take it to a body shop who might charge up to $100 (just my guess) to paint them. Hopefully not that much. Price around.

You do have Super Black like me, which would make it easier to paint yourself but still, damn hard to do a perfect job with a perfect match etc., unless you have a paint spray gun and painting booth and all that fancy stuff. Unless you make minimum wage, your time/money is better spent taking it to a professional.

 

I've painted rear window spoiler, eyelids and mirror shells using the touch up kits that I sell on our website. I think they're great. I am in the process of painting a bodykit and rear window spoiler for my fiance's VW with it also.

there will be no group buy for th 3rd gens. To produce these, the manufacturer wants to make a minimum of 200 sets.

is it just me cuz i thought the deal was $105 shipped my paypal receipt came up to like $115 i didnt take sales tax into account it got me by surprise

does anybody know for sure if i can change the amber light on the shells to white/clear. i think i have to buy the bulbs but i just wanna know if it was possible cuz i have clear corners and red and clear tails and the amber lights wouldnt match and will just stick out
