Doesn't M&H distribute from Canada too? Would it still be possible to be part of this GB but get the slicks from an M&H location in Canada?

They don't make a 16" slick that will fit on a maxima. How long is this group buy open? I'm interested but it will be at least 3 weeks before I know how much my transmission buildup is going to cost - hence 3 weeks before I know how much extra money I have to spend.

They don't seem in a hurry

Question apart: Does anyone know why 15" is the standard for slicks? Is it because a bigger sidewall is good for traction? Does that mean same quality street tires are easier to launch in 15" format than in 17" format?

Well you certainly got more than 7 people now. I need the damn slicks... Money in hand. It'll be 8.5" wide for sure, not sure on whether to use 23.0, 24.5 or 26.0 right now. What would be best for say... 105 mph trap speed?

I'm in for the 6/26.0-15
would the 8.5 work on the stock 15's?

If so I want the 8.5 instead of the 6.

Lets get this deal rolling! I am looking at getting a 24.5xX.Xx15 slick.. I am looking to get slicks to fit my stock sawblades. Does anyone reccomend a better slick size? I ran a 107mph trap on my stock swablades w/ 215-55-15 on them. I will definately be in as soon as I find out my best size. Money in hand!

Thanks,

-Nick

I don't think this is ever going to happen. But if it does I'm officially in for a set of:

8.5/26.0-15 @ $121.60 a piece.

Well, show me where M&H makes a 22" slick and I will check it out. I might get in on this group deal for the M&H 7.5x23x15 slick that will fit on my Millenia wheels, but I will have to think about it. The 22x8x15 MT slick really suits my needs the best. It even has more tread width than the 23" M&H slick. So it will be nice to have when I start boosting. But, the 22" MT slick doesn't fit on the 6" wide Millenia wheel. I think Jime has already tried it. I might try it again with my awesome tires guys. They were nice enough to make a VERY small motorcycle tire fit on a 16x4 car wheel. They had to do some tricks to get that puppy to seal.

Jime said they would not fit with over 100 psi in them. Just go with the 23".
