OK i guess I'll just order an 02-03 eyelid to try it out. I thought you can swap out the 5th gen headlight for 5.5 HIDs so the should be the same size. Well, if anybody knows for sure if this will fit, can you please let me know?

I really doubt they will fit. Overall size is about the same and yes, you can swap 5.5th headlights for 5th gen with little rewiring, however, the outside shape of the glass is different.

 

Hm, that sucks. Thanks for the info. I might still buy the 5.5 and try it out. They're made from polyurethane? Does anybody know if this is difficult to cut. I really like the 02-03 version. Dammit... now I wanna get the HIDs even more.

I bought a pair of these and did not really like them...they look kinda tacky, IHMO and I never put them on...

The status of this deal is that I have not recieved the all of the payments. If I do not recieve all of the payments by tomorrow I will refund your $30 bucks to all that have made the payment. The deal would be if all payments are recieved. THe eyelids would get manufactured, then shipped out.

Will these look on an almost otherwise stock looking Maxima? If you guys think they have a chance, count me in!

 

Gold's max doesn't look heavily mod'ded ('cept for the grill/clear signals) just from this shot (which is the only shot that matters..head on). I don't think it'd look out of place, but if you had HIDs then think twice about putting these on and then sticking in the oven for DDEs.

the reason i got first set of eyelids is becouse of DDE's
i wanted to hide the top part of the light where the wires show a little and make it look good.
thats another reason why i want a second set. is becouse i will be reopening my headlights again.
