i got a full sponsorship from them..met them at HIN @ AC....but i declined them because i wanted to do the same sponsor with my friend at sportcompactpro...this was like during november...he got 15,000 for his 97 sentra...but i don't know what happened....he told me they took the money back and i got a call from them 3 hrs later....i was going to see a black 03 350z touring that day...once i got the call...i went with this sponsorship..they told me they pay 50% for what i do....and said the contract will come in 2 weeks..i got it during january!..took for ever....contract says 25-55% off retail...im like..wtf..they lied!..yea..so be careful with these sponsorships....made me lose that 350z!..so i ended up buyin the 99 lakeshore blue max

why would you post a link to YOUR fs thread in the GROUP DEAL section? the whole point of this section is so that the org's sponsers, who PAY to sell things on this site can have a seperate part. Dont go whoring yours around. Its disrespectful, and just plain rude

there might be someone who would rather have it now, what i'm doing has no bearing on whether you'll get a vendor to sponsor this deal. there wont be any further posts regarding my fs.

Whoa relax...he's totally right. He's just letting people know he has one (a single) set for sale, for less than current retail. No need to wet the bed over it...

yea i understand that, but would you like it if someone came into one of your FS threads and posted what they had forsale? this isnt the FS section, it is the GD section, and the sponsors pay money to be able to post in here, and give us deals on products, thats all im saying. its just plain rude to the orgs sponsors.

for a kid you talk a lot of ****. as far can see there isn't even any offers for an actual GD. furthermore the majority of people interested are 4th gens.....which HS doesn't even have a design for! so calm your @ss down, "internet fighting is like the special olympics. you're still retarded even if you win"

Nobody's fighting...just annoying to see people on here trying to lecture other peeps for no good reason. But we digress. Still no details on this deal, so really there is no GD yet...this is nothing more than a "gauging interest" thread...

To me, even if its a GD and you know that you can hook people up for less money you should expose it.. Its just looking out for your fellow ORG memebers..
BTW i would love to hear what the 4th gen headers would sound like !!!

HS headers fit 4th gens, the manifolds are identical on a 5th gen 3.0L as the 4th gen one, and you can also use a 4th gen Ypipe on a 5th gen. I currently have HS headers on my 01 3.0L. They fit just great, but the 02 sensor bung is in the wrong spot and hits the A/C compressor line fitting. So it requires relocation of the 02 sensor on the front manifold to keep the A/C. Sound- unless you have a very quiet aftermarket exhaust, it will sound very raspy and ghey. Its louder than all he11 and there are very noticable gains over a Cattman Ypipe. It took me bout a hour to install mine, I work on cars for a living, and have a shop. On a 4th gen you will need to have a muffler shop extend the EGR pipe down into the Ypipe as there is NO EGR fitting on the HS headers (designed for the 3.5Ls which have no EGR). 01 Maximas luck out since they have no EGRs. Combined with Stromung Catback 2.5" exhaust, test pipe, 02 sensor simulator- the car is quite a monster, sounds like a very mean 350Z.

for anyone who wants to be smog legal in any of the emission testing states with their 4th gen, be prepared to spend some BIG bux for the install with extending the EGR pipe so the EGR work properly- doesn't set check engine lights and passes emissions still. Unless you are very determined bout installing these on a 4th gen to get every bit of power out of the engine, its not worth the $$ of the install. I'm guessing another 200 bux on top of the already steep install prices I have seen floating around the 5th gen forum.

I got my HS headers from Jim Wolf for 529 shipped.

Yeah- there is a set for sale on the classfied section for the 5th gens- brand new never used. This might be your last chance to get a set of HS headers as they MIGHT not make them no more. ORG bought pretty much all the 3.5L Maxima headers from them, realistically the market for headers on a Maxima isn't as strong as lets say Sentra, Civic, RSX or even a Cavalier- kids buy these cars to soup up, where older guys buy Maximas and they tend to keep them just nice looking with little to add to performance.

For me it is going to be cattman, they are more expensive but very well design + Brian has been supporting the maxima community for quite some time, to me it worth the $$$.

Good luck with this GD.

Well i just got off the phone with redmax. Looks like there won't be a group deal on hotshot headers. He said they were trying to source another set of headers to have a group deal on but no luck as of yet. He also said that he is going to add the hotshot headers to the website. He said that the price will be $470 and $40 shipping (to KS atleast). Not too bad of a price. Cheapest normal price i've seen. Just thought i'd let everyone know that is still interested in headers.
