Current pricing examples: AMSOIL Synthetic 5w-30/10w-30/10w-40 $55.20/case ($72.60 retail); AMSOIL Series 2000 0w-30 $76.80/case ($103.20 retail); AMSOIL ATF $69.60/case ($94.80 retail); SDF-13 Super-Duty oil filter $11.05 ($14.60 retail); TS-74 Air Filter $24.55 ($32.65 retail); AMSOIL Power Foam $3.45 ($4.70 retail); AMSOIL Performance Improver Gas Additive $6.15 ($7.70 retail); Octane Boost $7.00 ($8.65 retail). Prices plus applicable sales tax, in accordance with AMSOIL sales tax policy, and shipping. Shipping charges for a case of oil typically cost $8.25. I have all products shipped directly from the AMSOIL Product Center nearest you...this assures you of the freshest products, widest selection, quick delivery and it essentially cuts shipping costs in half.

Some people use Bosch plugs and like them. I have used Bosch Platinums in other vehicles with favorable results, but for the Max I stick with NGK platinums. AMSOIL has a alliance with Bosch and Hastings, making the complete line of both manufacturers available to their dealers. But AMSOIL's core competency remains with premium lubricants.

The concept (dealer cost) is good indefinitely...I've been helping our members with discounts on AMSOIL for the past couple years and I have no plans to discontinue the offer.

Concerning the posted prices, they are valid on orders placed through the end of March. Increased costs in raw materials, packaging and transportation has caused AMSOIL to announce a price increase effective 1 April...I have the new price list and the 5w-30 and 10w-30 motor oil will go up $1.80/case or 15 cents per quart when purchased by the case...other products will have similar increases.

Even with the price increase, this is still a good deal and the cost of AMSOIL is competitive with other synthetics. With the price of gas today, anything you can do to improve your fuel economy will have substantial pay-back. While increased fuel economy is a secondary benefit of synthetics, a modest 3% to 5% gain in fuel economy will more than offset the price of the oil... ed

Thanks for the positive words. I treat people the way I like to be treated, and it has not failed me yet. I have used AMSOIL in my cars for more than 20 years and have learned a lot during that time. I tend to be conservative in my recommendations, but that's okay. There's a good group of folks on this site and I enjoy helping where I can...

Nice to hear from you. I trust you have installed the gear oil you bought and are pleased with it :-)

Concerning extended drain oil, AMSOIL was actually the first company to introduce an extended drain oil/25,000 mile 100% synthetic motor oil in 1972. Since then AMSOIL has continued to lead the industry. Today AMSOIL offers a complete line of premium lubricants for consumer, commercial and industrial use. AMSOIL offers several extended drain automotive motor oils including XL-7500 (6-mos/7500 mi); their original 100% synthetic (12-mos/25,000 mi); and the Series 2000 (12-mos/35,000 mi). Drain recommendations assume you are using the oil in a mechanically sound engine and that (AMSOIL) filters are replaced every 6 mos or 12,500 miles, whichever comes first. Other (non-AMSOIL) filters should be changed at the mfgr's recommended interval.

While most people are uncomfortable with the 25K or 35K drain intervals, I have a few customers and a couple major commercial accounts who are successfully using the lubricants for extended periods. The commercial accounts use oil analysis to support their decisions, and would recommend anyone else do the same if you really intend to push the oil to the max.

This type discussion belongs in the Lubricants forum so I would be glad to talk more about it there, in a PM or e-mail.

Let me know how much oil you need and I will send you a quote, including NY tax and shipping.

Based on your location, your oil will be sent from the AMSOIL Product Center in Lancaster PA. Service is very good as most orders are shipped the same day I place them and delivery to NYC area is often times next day or 2 at the most. ed

Got it! Will place the order first thing Monday morning when AMSOIL opens for business. AMSOIL/UPS will send me an e-mail notification when your package is shipped...I normally receive the shipping notifications at the end of the business day when the shipment is picked-up by UPS and entered into their tracking system. I will fwd the notification to you as it will contain the UPS tracking number and scheduled delivery date...that way you'll know when to expect it. Thanks

Guys I used AMSOIL in my last car and just put in into my Max. The stuff DOES NOT break down. You can keep running the oil as long as you change the filter every 4-6k miles. As long as you check the oil when you change the filter you can just keep running with it. This is great for someone like me who puts on about 1500-2000 miles a month worth of highway driving. I definitely recommend it!!

You didn't miss the Group Deal...I offer this deal as a service to our members.

Let me know the quantity oil you need for both the Max and your bike and I will send you a quote including your local sales tax and shipping. AMSOIL makes an excellent 10w-40 and a 20w-50 motorcycle oil, so let me know which you prefer/need.

Also, there is an AMSOIL Product Center in Bensenville IL and that's where your oil would come from. If that is close to you, I can arrange for you to pick up the oil and save the shipping.

Total capacity is about 10.5 quarts, so I sent you a PM with a quote for a case of 12 quarts. You save 30-cents per quart buying by the case, and it will be good to have a little extra to get a good flush. If you have a little left over, recommend you use it in your power steering...you'll love it

Total capacity on your transmission is ~10 quarts...if you intend to do a complete flush, I would recommend you get a case of ATF so you have enough to flush it good. In the event you have a little left over yo can use it in your power steering.

I have sent you a PM with a total quote and ordering information. Pls let me know if I can help. thx, ed

Hi, I trough your first post stated that is was "AMSOIL Synthetic 5w-30/10w-30/10w-40 $55.20/case"

and with the price increase effective 1 April
the new price list and the 5w-30 and 10w-30 motor oil will go up $1.80/case or 15 cents per quart ??

You are correct...the oil is $55.20/case. However, the very next paragraph in the post clearly states that the prices quoted are plus your applicable sales tax and shipping. I also explained that these charges apply to all orders, including Retail orders placed through the AMSOIL on-line store as well as to dealer orders (including those I place for my own personal use), so you are truely purchasing the oil for cost...bottom line is that you are saving over $17.00 on the case. Add to that the fact that I pay dealer fees, I donate to this site and then pay to advertise in this forum and I'd say you're geting a pretty good deal.

If you have any further questions please send me a PM or e-mail and I'd be happy to address your concerns...
