Spring matching take extensive knowledge in suspension and the car and isn't an easy job for most average joes out there. So i would recommend to go with the default rate that ksport sends out.

how would these compare too a tein s tech/illuminia ride? anyone have any idea????.... about the same? more stiff??.... i like the coilovers cause of more adjustment...but the s tech/illum was what i was gonna go with but saw this GB.... so i thought id check and see if it would be about the same type of ride, heard the s techs can be a bit more on the stiff side......also do these come with directions for us idiots?? well me?... ive done strut removals and air cylinder installs, but never a CO...

Now, these vs. S-Techs/Illuminas... The Ksports use linear-rate springs that are much stiffer than the S-Techs (progressive rate springs, which have a soft section and a hard section), but they have shocks that are matched to the springs. Basically, what this means is that over the roughest pavement and most horrible bumps, the Ksports might jolt you a lot harder, but everywhere else they will be about the same if not better. I heard one account that the Ksports ride the same as, if not better than, Eibachs/Illuminas. You'll also scrape less on speed bumps and such with the Ksports because of the linear-rate springs (most aftermarket springs, including S-Techs, are progressive-rate, which means they have some give to them for the first little bit of travel).
From my own personal experience, I thought the Ksports rode decently when set to full-stiff -- it was rough, but the handling was more than worth it. Once I set them to a really soft setting, it was buttery smooth -- eerily close to stock (I'm not kidding). Illuminas are great, but there's no substitute for having shocks that are matched specifically to the springs.
And of course, in terms of handling, these will destroy S-Techs/Illuminas.

Will this GD continue through the summer, I know it was only for June, but there was another on in May, and I think this would be a nice Graduation Present... But my family and I are going to be in Hawaii until July 4th so I don't think that I will be able to get on this deal...
if ordered withen the next buisness week(wednesday latest), what kind of time table would there be on shipping/arrival time?..... im moving come mid july, and dont know the address yet.....

do you have any concrete info as to what's changing and will they available when I place my order?
Thanks alot for your quick responses

you should get your kit no later than early July if you order next week
as for the spec v Kit, the main redesign is foucing an mount position and overall functionality of the wit as the early model is based on jdm Speer which has different suspension geometry

KSport seems good as far as support goes. I ordered a set for my 2002 SE-R and they were not designed properly for the SE-R as they used a B15 sentra from overseas. I brought it to their attention and they are looking to have me a redesigned set in a couple weeks. I was the first to order these in the US, so they never had this issue before. The only thing that sucks is that I have to pay again for install.
