Kc i send you the pm.
(((---FOR HELIOS FOGS ONLY - 6th GEN---NOT D2S----)))
Just to Clarify, YOU HAVE TO CUT THE WIRES, OR DRILL a hole in the black Fog Cap to install the lights. If you are saying they are plug in play, that is not true, and you need to make sure you are telling them everything. The end connections to the ballasts will have to be connected to the wires you pull from the FOG CAP, and shrink wrapped or electrical taped. There IS NO PLUG AND PALY with that. Plug and Play is just clipping on the items, and NO MODIFICATIONS AT ALL. Again the kits do work VERY WELL, but you are not telling them the exact truth. You say that you had a few installed at the dealership, well i am sure they had to either cut the wires to fit into the cap, or drill a hole into the black cap to fit the new bulbs through. and the connections will have to be connected by connecting the ballasts to the original wiring.

Also, this is with the CAP CLOSED, and WATER TIGHT. Your kit doesnt come with an extra Grommet to put into the cap AFTER you drill the hole to push the bulb through. There are many post to this reference in the General 6th GEN Forum. REMEMBER THIS IS A 6th GEN CAR, NOT any other...

Again to let others know, this is an Awesome Kit, and Works Very Well and i would recomend this to anyone willing to do a bit of modding. It is not really hard to do, just a little frustrating to know it isnt a true plug and play kit. The only thing that is plug in play is that all the parts in the kit, PLUG INTO EACH OTHER PERFECTLY, AND WATER TIGHT.

Now MAXBEST, if you can prove my statement is wrong please prove it by posting pics, and explain it completely, EVERY STEP, Including all wires from kit and car. I mean they have to plug in some where.

Again thanks...

Dude, i dont have to proof anything, im just telling what my staff did, if you feel happy, to post this kind of comments do it, this is a free post, and also i sold more than 275 kits on the org without any problem with mod or cut anything. But is important to say that is your OWN comment, doesnt represent all the costumers comments, cause i sold a lot of H3 mini to 6 gen costumers and they didnt say anything. Again thanks for your comment and i think 6 gen maximas will ask you how to do it. By now we have to focus to offer the product and take car any order that i got and this kind of post can confuse the new costumers, anyway thanks.

MAXBEST, i never said that your product was bad, infact i told them that your product is a great product. From what you have written you seem more prone to sell your item than explaining to those that want to buy it. I am trying to help you here, buddy. There are those, that might not understand what you are saying about plug and play for the 6th Gen Max. I found out some new info, about how to install it.

No cutting of any wires are needed, BUT you will have to drill out a bigger hole in your FOG CAP to push the wires through, from the H3 mini's/micro, to attach them to the igniters, then put a rubber grommet or some type of sealer to seal the cap again... Then Igniter to the Ballasts(reg connect/plug and play), then the end Ballast connections will need to be shrink wrapped/electrically taped to the original wires you pulled from the stock cap that went to the original bulbs. AND THATS IT, besides mounting of the igniters and ballasts.

Again PEOPLE, THIS PRODUCT IS GREAT, and i recomend this to anyone who is looking into buying it. HIGHLY RECOMEND!!

Again, Maxbest i was just clarifying this for you to explain, and again this is to HELP YOUR BUISNESS. I will be sending you all the pics you need for the full install, so again to HELP you sell your product, with full instructions.

To infom others, Maxbest and I had a disagreement on my order, and he messed it up. BUT, HE DID EVERYTHING IN HIS POWER TO FIX THE PROBLEM, SO AGAIN TO HELP HIM, HE IS WILLING TO MAKE SURE YOU ARE SATISFIED. Not many buisnesses would have done what he did for me. He is a great person, and sells a GREAT PRODUCT.

Take care maxbest, and i am on your side here bro. ONLY to HELP, Not Hurt your Buisness. I have recomended alot of people to you...

LAter..

Do you still have any H3 kits (probably 6K)? If so, how much would you be looking for shipped? Thanks.

do you have any pictures of the amount of light coming from your HID kit, I'm aware that a lot of 4th gen maxima have bought you kit and are very happy but i was wondering if any of the 4th gen maxima have sent you pictures of the light output on the ground. 4th gens w/o doing a retro.

I'm asking for this because mainly i had an HID kit on my old camry and the light output was crappy on the road. but it look great coming from the headlights. But i couldn't see anything from ahead of me. My friend with a mazda 626 bought a similar kit and comparing his HID to my kit. His was 150% better.

Here are some pics of a 7K kit installed. Also some pics of where i mounted the ballasts and igniters.

Here's a comparison Picture.

Silverstars on the left, HID's on the right.

The Camera makes it look a lot bluer than it really is.

For those wondering what to do with ballasts and igniters here's a few pics.

The igniters fit perfectly under the frame behind the headlamp.

For the right side i simply velcro'ed it on top of the fuse box in front of the battery.

On the left side there was a existing hole by the antifreeze resevoir that a screw from the kit fit perfectly into. So i used the mounting bracket and secured it that way. Works perfectly.

Enjoy
