Quick question, if I have empty 2K2 assembly without the any ballast/bulbs, can I order one of these sets and put them in the 2k2 assembly easily? This is going into a 2K1 so I will I also need a wiring harness? Let me know as I am very interested if so and it is easy. Thanks!

So if I purchase an H4 kit I will have everything I need to install into the assemblies and to work properly? I want to make sure if I order the H4 kit the bulb will fit inside the 2002 headlight assembly and the wiring will plug into my existing 2001 headlight wiring. I am purchasing 2002 HID assemblies with no bulbs or ballasts in them so need to be sure I can put the H4 bulb and ballast into the assembly just like it is from the factory. I will be giving all of this to the bodyshop to install and they tolda me if something does not fit properly or they can't figure something out they won't install it. Please let me know ASAP!! Also are the prices on the first page correct? If so for a 7K H4 kit I need to paypal you $275 right?

I was talking to some people and it from what they've been telling me I will not be able to fit an H4 bulb into a 2002 - D2R assembly. I hope that what you have told me is right as I have ordered 2002 assemblies and this HID kit from you and if this doesn't work I'm going to be out $$ for the assemblies and be stuck with an H4 kit I can't do anything with....Please PM or reply ASAP so I have no reason to worry.

Any 4th Gen pictures with this Kit installed? There's too many pages to go through.

How is the glare and overall light projection?

Any problems? Comments about this Kit?

I have been doing some reading on the other pages of this post and might have figured this out. Bixenon is when the high and low beams are both hid, and regular is when the low is hid and the high is halogen. The high/low in the same bulb is new to me, ANYONE that knows if this is true hook me up with the answer.

If you look at this website the H4 and D2R bulb have completely different bases, are you positive they can be interchanged?

How long do they usually take?
The only reason I ask is because living in an apartment on the 3rd floor UPS and FedEx just leave the package in the office and say that nobody was home. I do not want to say all of them but most of them will not go to third floor because it takes to long.
I just need to know when to start looking in the office, Thanks.

maximabest, i received the hid's today and am VERY PISSED. The bulb WILL NOT FIT in the socket as the HID is an H4 bulb type and the socket is a D2R bulb type. I promised the guy at the body shop I would have him the bulb and assembly to put back in my car today as they are waiting on it to complete my car. I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU DID THIS TO ME AS I ASKED YOU NUMEROUS TIMES IF THIS WOULD FIT!!!!!!!!!!!! ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

calm down, maximabest probably thought you needed an H4 kit for your 2001, and didn't read carefully enough to see you have 2002-03 headlights.

+1 for maximabest for super fast shipping on my kit.

Well you told me that you have and 2000/03 maxima right? those cars use H4 bulbs with d2r shield on it. If you told me that you got some aftermarket headlight or some hid headlight in your car i could understand you. I think here is a communication mistake but we can resolve this very easy, first understand my point and calm down.

You can pm the details of your car, headlights etc.

Best Regards,

Read the above posts #1328,1330 & 1337. All of these EXPLICITLY state that I am putting these bulbs inside a 2002 headlight assembly and that I drive a 2001 maxima. I don't know much clearer I can get than that. Either way, I don't care at this point, I need my car back and I need some f***** headlights in it. I have a set of empty 2002 headlamps getting put on my car as I speak. These assemblies will only take a D2R bulb as that is what it is made for. I drive a 2001 so the only part of your kit that will work is the wiring harness. Unless you can provide me with a bulb that will connect to your harness from the ballast and fit inside my 2002 assembly, I cannot do anything with the kit you have sold me. I need either a full refund plus $$ to ship this set back to you, or I need to exchange what I have for something that will work. I can pick up a set of ballasts and D2R bulbs off ebay for like $175, so unless you can beat this I need my $$ back as this was clearly YOUR MISTAKE!
