Anyone need a clutch?

ACT
Street/strip disc NM1-HDSS $360

Exedy
Stage 1 06803A $250
Stage 2 06950A $300

All prices are plus shipping, which will be approx $20 per clutch..
If you wish to pay via paypal, please add $7 to cover their fees since I'm not making but about $2 on these things.. After their fees, I'd be losing money!

Also have SS clutch lines in stock for 3 and 5 gens if anyone needs them.
$25 each, plus ship. (will ship free if bought with a clutch kit)

Does the stainless steel clutchline make any difference, or is just just more for personal comfort? How much would shipping on that be?

Maxima-Ness, the ones listed above are for 85-01. the 02+ use a different type of flywheel and clutch assembly. I'm checking on those to see if I can get something for you.

mtnbikeair, the SS lines give you better pedal feel on the clutch, but otherwise don't really do anything for performance. I have one on mine and love the feel.. (plus your stocker is 12 years old and probably about to burst. thus the reason I replaced mine!).
They'll be $4 shipping, so $29 shipped.

Panda_1, Fidanza will be $375 shipped
the Exedy stage 2 is a sprung 3 puck disc. aggressive bite, but won't rip your tranny out.

Im looking to get a Fidanza flywheel, and a new clutch assembly. I wont need a pressure plate, but I still want a high quality clutch. Also, I wont be going to the track, but I do love some aggressive launches.......

in that case, you'll just want to get a complete clutch kit. to swap clutch discs usually requires a pressure plate to go with it. I would NOT recommend using a sprung puck disc with an OE pressure plate. just not a good combination, IMO. best bet is to use one that's designed for it.

no luck so far on finding you anything though.. I'll bug my guys tomorrow again and see if he can't make something fall off the truck.

mtnbikeair, shoot me a paypal for it. sales@mattblehm.com.
Thakns!

yes. complete clutch kit= friction disc, pressure plate, throwout bearing, alignment tool, and usually a thrust bearing that I toss in the toolbox because I can't pull them out and they dont' wear anyway...

You can buy the parts separately if you just want a beefier disc, but I recommend just buying the whole kit in one box. You KNOW the parts are designed to work together, and the performance is proven for the whole kit.

If you want to pay check or money roder, it'll be $320.
thanks!

the clutch is coming from my distributor and I keep the other stuff in stock here, but if you buy both I'll throw in the $10 shipping for the brake kit, so it would be $527 total for the clutch and Z32 brackets, hardware, and lines.

Travis, got the payment, thanks! will ship ASAP!

Hmmmmm. Sounds like your typical uneducated, biased reponse. The philosophy of "If I don't carry it, or know about it, then it must suck"

It seems all the guys with 300+HP are using Clutchnet. Can that many high horsepower guys be wrong?

Thanks anyway Matt. How about a Fidanza FW and ss lines for my 4th gen?

I have personally installed two Clutchnet discs on SE-Rs and have had to redo the job within weeks because of problems with them.
the Marcels didn't fit properly and there was tons of play in the disc. WAY out of spec, even when brand new. actually caused visible wear on the input shaft of both transmissions while only in there for about 200 miles.

Clutchnet tried to deny warranty on them saying they were fine. I made them ship me a new one the first time, and even new it didn't meet specs.. I returned it and installed an OE clutch for the first customer. the second customer that came in, I simply removed the clutchnet disc and installed an OE disc as well and all was good for both cars.

So yeah.. my personal experience and his Professional experience both show those clutches are crap. my distributor deals with over 400 shops and trust me, if he could sell the clutches and make money, he would. but nobody wants those clutches. they're crap..

Well, thanks for sharing. Personally experience means alot to me, saying something is crap w/o backing it up means nothing to me. Thanks. How about that FW and ss lines?

how much power can exedy stage 2 hold? I'm running a 75+shot and my exedy oem replacement ain't cuttin it at the track (even on street tires). I'm debating between the Spec stage 2 and Exedy stage 2. which do you recommend?

Matt93se is a very reputable guy, ask anyone on the org. He has sold many items to us org.er for quite a long time. You can pay him paypal which is secured and it'll show a reciept of the payment.

Don't worry, I'm not going anywhere. I've run a business for the last two years selling Maxima parts on these forums.. it's what's keeping food on the table, and I pride myself on being honest and reputable to everyone. I've sold parts to over 300 members, and many of them have returned multiple times for other parts.

the Exedy stage 2 will be $327 shipped if paying via paypal.

jcy, the Exedy Stage 1 will hold 36% over stock and the stage 2 is 84% over stock. Either one should be fine for what you're doing with it. The Spec clutch should hold as well, but my distributor can't get them for nearly as good of prices as he can the Exedy stuff... Personally I've installed several Exedy clutches and am happy with all of them. no personal experience on the spec yet to say anything about them.

Can you get your hands on SPEC clutches? What's the best you can do on a Spec Stage II? Thanks.
