Many months of research and design went into this final product ensuring the highest amount of horsepower gain possible. Constructed out of 100% stainless steel with precise mandrel bends and tig welding. The flex section on our y-pipe is what sets it apart from the competition. Most other y-pipes on the market save on cost by using a cheaper lower quality flex section, this results in an annoying “bee buzzing” sound under acceleration. We are sure you have heard one of your Maxima buddies complaining about this before. The Custom Enterprise y-pipe flex section was manufactured witha a special inner liner to ensure a smooth even flow with no “bee buzzing” sound.



We recommend the installation kit which includes new bolts and hardware, because unless you have a brand new Maxima, the bolts will be rusted and difficult to reuse.

Ive got this y-pipe and there is definatly no bees in the can. Id say this pipe and cattmans are easily the best quality pipes for 4th gens

I wrote a review for this but I dont know if you didnt like it or what because you could have used it to display the quality of this part.. It actually is pretty decent in make and finish, also the 'bees in a can' is no where to be found.

Will this fit a 99 max? I can read that it is up untill 98, but my y pipe on my max looks exactly like the y pipe on my brothers 97 max.

We all know the pros of y-pipes. But are there any cons that ought to be addressed here? How about emissions? NJ state emissions tests are VERY strict. Is it really true that as long as your car is warmed up prior to testing, you will pass with no problem?

Anyone ever have any difficulties passing inspection?

EDIT: its the 5th today and i made my order this morning. will recive my pipe on friday i belive (the 8th) and hopefully have it installed either that day or saturday (if im lucky).
