Happy New Years guys!! Sorry, was out of the office all last week - snowboarding/snowmobiling.

We order these things from Brembo and have no say in where they come from. You can call Brembo, talk to Robert @ Brembo Ext. 204. There # is 1-800-325-3994. He can confirm that the rotors are legit, etc. Let me know if you have any further questions.

Thanks again,
Jeff

$213 shipped. Is that a WA zipcode? If so, I have to legally charge sales tax. Let me know.

Thanks again

So the rotors would be $74 and shipping would be $21, so the total would be $95 shipped!

Well, the rears are $28 a piece and shipping is $14, so the total would be $70 shipped!

Thanks,

Can be not safe, but mostly its just not worth it because it will wear off very quickly.

Thanks,
Jeff

uhmmm zinc coatings would not wear off on any part other than the surface where the pad meets the rotor... if it didnt wear off there then you have a problem

I do not see how zinc coatings are not safe...

okay, maybe im looking for the wrong thing. What i want is a rotor with a non rusty hub and shiney surface at ALL times. i dont care for slotted or drilled, unless the price difference is very small.
can anyone prescribe me what i need

I'm sorry, I need to make myself more clear. Zinc coating is very safe, as long as it is done proffesionally or by the Manufacturer when the rotor is cast. There are a lot of aftermarket companies that coat rotors that do not know what they are doing. I was just cautioning you org folks of this. Brembo does NOT coat their blanks EVER. So if you find a Brembo blank for sale it is 3rd party coated.

Brembo always coats their drilled or slotted rotors. Hope that helps to clear it up. Thanks again for the continued support!

Best Regards,
Jeff

I received my 98 Maxima's Front Slotted 5 days after ordering (cross country transit). I am anxious to test these rotors.

My current brake pads are about 7000 to 12000 miles old. Definitely less than a year old. Will I damage the rotors by using the old pads?

I think you'll be ok using your old pads. However, it is recommended to break new pads and rotors in together to develop a fresh surface. So, its really your call, depending on how your old pads look, etc. Let me know if you have anymore questions or decide you need pads. Thanks again for the order!

Jeff

Jeff,

Does this mean the order I placed (the one where you couldn't ship the rear rotors but already shipped the front and pads) will be completely shipped?
