we currently don't have pictures on the maximas and that's y we are offering heavy discoutns for the first 5 orders who post pictures.

Depends on where you live and local law but generally smoked headlights are for show use only (and light out put will diminish by 30%). Blue, red, yellow, and clear will not demish light output.

how thick did you say they are? 17mm? Did you mean 1.7mm? Does this protect from rocks and chips pretty well?

they are 17mil thick, 1mil = 1/1000 of inch.

We don't have smoked taillight kit for the 99 maxima yet but if you or someone lend us a set of tail light for a few days then we can make one. And the owner of the lender will get a set for free.

actualy 1 mm = 1/10 of a cm and about 2.5 cm= an inch. so 17 mm is like over an inch thick...

once again it's 17mil not milimeter
mil is a thichkness measurment mostly used for paper, film thickness. 1mil = 1/1000 inch not 1mm

mil Pronunciation Key (ml)
n.

1. A unit of length equal to one thousandth (10-3) of an inch (0.0254 millimeter), used, for example, to specify the diameter of wire or the thickness of materials sold in sheets.
2. A milliliter; one cubic centimeter.
3. A unit of angular measurement used in artillery and equal to 1/6400 of a complete revolution.

Look at the Subaru pic at the top - they just precut the ovals in the tinted film before they ship it out.

The headlight/tail light film has UV blockers (to protect the film)...so the plastic headlight lense should be protected.

Acutally we never sold red kit for headlights but if you want to try it's always availabe (not cop friendly tho)

We are currently working on 05 maxima tail lights rite now. and will post pix when it's done.

I guess I got it wrong then... your first post:

2004-up: Smoked Tail Light Kit.
Head light/Fog light Kit (clear, red, yellow, blue, smoked)
$69.95
Gave me the idea that the set (2 fronts and 2 rears) was $69.95. The website has each at that price, discounted to $50. I'm sure they're nice, but without pictures I'm not gonna be the one to test them at $50 for a piece of smoked film.

I'll wait for a while and see what they look like... maybe I'll mess with the fronts only or something.

does the $70 kit for the 4th gen include fog lights? will it be cheaper for headlights only since i don't have fogs? and doesn't the 4th gen headlights have 3 little nipples on the front? (i'm not sure, have to check myself) i installed headlight films for my scion and it went on easy since the lens is smooth and flat. are there cutouts for the 3 nipples?

The kit should have cutouts to go over the nipples. We only sell headlight and foglight kit together as a set.

Thanks.

Okay, first off, do you have different sets for 95-96, and 97-99? the headlights and foglights are different on these models. Which did you use to produce these? (The taillights are also different on these models.) Also, please check pm ASAP. Thanks.

The kit can be easily removed but can't be reinstalled.
I have noticed the differences between 95-96 and 97-99 We do have separate kits for them and we Still need a set of 97-99 taillight fop fabrication.

We also got full smoked kit done for the A32 which will work for all year.

If anyone can snap some picutre of a side by side comparsion shot of 96 and 97 talights it would be much appreciated so that we can estimate mesurement and design a kit that way.
