I have a question about that CV rubbing problem people were talking about a while back. Has this issue been solved, or would I have to zip tie the line so that it is away from the CV boot? I'm lowered about 2inches so I'm not sure if that will be an issue.

To the 2000-2001 guys. I encourage you to read the thread that was posted on here earlier. You can see that Techna-Fit was pro-active in resolving the issue on that specific line. Unfortunately, the original posters were not satisfied that the exact type of connector was not being used. Techna-Fit claimed that from a manufacturing stand-point it's not cost-effective to design the exact fitting for every make/model. I agree with this. Alternatively, the more expensive and highly regarded Goodridge lines also use different types of connectors that are not exact, and much like Techna-Fit, Goodridge has never had problems with the physical connection. The original problem has been resolved by changing the angle of the connector, providing it enough room to clear the CV boot in all wheel positions.
Again, it WAS only a problem for 2000-2001 Maximas and we can thank the members of maxima.org for providing appropriate feedback to Techna-Fit so that they could address and remedy the problem.

I am now OUT OF STOCK on the 2002-2003 Maxima lines. I can still get them from the manufacturer but it will take around 2-4 business days to have them made.
FYI, I have the following quantities left:
1 - 4th gen line
1 - 2000-2001 line
2 - 6th gen lines
I will be able to get more but it will take 2-4 days for manufacturing time. Depending on interest, I will decide whether I want to stock the lines myself or just have them built to order.
If you want to order lines and have them shipped out the same day, make sure you order them before I run out of stock.
Thanks,
Brian

Got mine yesterday, as described, thanks Brian! FYI, they also have the bend at the fitting to address the CV boot issue, for those that were wondering. Awsome deal, thanks again.

Hi Brian,
Is it possible for you to ship to Canada? What would be the cost to ship to Canada? Postal code L4N 8R2. Can you ship via US Postal Service? That would save me from having to pay for duties, taxes, brokerage fees etc.
Let me know.
Thanks
Jason

One more thing,
I forgot, I can't drop ship from Techna-Fit to Canada (I'll ask them anyways). Thus, I will have to ship directly from here. If I have stock on the product that'll be no problem. However, if I don't have stock, I will have to ship it here and then ship it to you which will add a few more days to the schedule (and possibly an extra $5).
What year did you need, I may have them in stock.
I plan on always carrying a small stock of products for people who need their lines urgently and/or for the international folks. Hopefully these sorts of things will be sorted out after time; after I determine what the typical run-rates are and how much stock I need to have on hand.
Thanks,
Brian

Please see the intended PM I sent and let me know what you think:
Thanks for posting.
Please see the Group Buy thread as I commented on there as well.
I can ship to Canada, the additional shipping charge will be $7 (if I have the part in stock) and $13 if I have to order the part since I would then have to double ship the part since the manufacturer won't ship to Canada ($97US total if in stock, $103US if not in stock). If you have a 95-01 Maxima or a 6th Gen then I DO HAVE THEM in STOCK. I'm out of 3rd gen lines and 2002-2003 Maxima lines.
Since the lines are made in the USA, the customs fees should be waived (this is what I was told by another buyer and confirmed it with someone from fedex).
Anyways, please let me know what year Maxima you have so we can figure out how to make this transaction work the best.
Thanks,
Brian

Hi Brian,
Sorry about the not selecting PM's. I'm new to the forum and must have not paid too much attention when setting up my account. I think that I've fixed it now. [correction] - It's not fixed. I don't seem to have any options for enabling/disabling Private Messaging.
Thanks for the info about shipping to Canada. I will email you with what I need.
Thanks,
Jason

Then
'Edit Options'
Then
Check 'Enable Private Messaging'
That's where it is for me anyways.
I'll look for the email.
Thanks
