Hi, Would like to know what kind of clutch you would recommend for a 03 maxima 6spd...The only engine work i've got done is stillen headers, an Injen CAI and catback exhaust. I also drive this car pretty hard at times and would like a clutch with really good performance with a good life span.

Thanks

Spec Stage 1 would be good. Stage 2 is still streetable if you want a strong one.

Do you know if the issue with the fidanza flywheel has been corrected. Many have complained about grinding on start up. I guess the ring gear was too small.

Has anyone had experience with the spec flywheel?

I haven't heard of anyone having that problem. We sell alot of these and have no complaints. Spec uses a Fidanza flywheel.

If I went with the spec stage II, the only advantage it has over stage 1 is that it will last longer correct.

Also would the stage II be better at reducing chatter since it has a different clutch disk?

I'm interested in a fidanza flywheel and a stage 1 clutch. i'm gonna do some research first and see what people have to say about the different clutch brands.

I have a spec stage 1 from these guys and I love it. Stock-like drivability and comfort. Shipping was fast and they had great communication.

It should last longer and will hold better. I don't know about the chatter.

I feel my clutch going on my 99. Its pretty much stock aside from intake, but i'll have a y-pipe and full exhaust with time aswell as some other mods. I was thinking about the spec stage2 is it ok for my car? Like i said stock now but wont be. Does the clutch come with a throw out bearing, disc and presure plate? or without the bearing? Will it reduce the travel of the clutch pedal and how is the grabbing power on it? Also what's the difference between spec stage 1 and 2. Thanks (lol i know so many questions) but i don't wanna get some bs...Thanks again.

The Spec Stage 2 would be the one I would use. It is a complete kit that comes with all you need to change out the clutch. It grabs good but is still great for street use. Check out www.specclutch.com under the products section for more info.

I was told by someone that they purchased the Exedy Racing Stage 1 clutch form your company, but I did not see it listed on the initial page. I do not have a part # or link. Thanx for the response.

I don't carry any clutch fluid. The Spec clutches come with all need to install. Disk, pressure plate, throw out bearing, and any other parts required per application.
Stage 2
High clamp pressure plate, pure Kevlar friction material and high torque sprung hub and disc assembly, bearing and tool kit.

I just installed my spec stage one...is it supposed to be really light like that? Its much lighter than my stock 4th gen clutch. also, does it have a really short engage point cuz it's mad hard tryin to make smooth shifts...some feedback would be nice.
