Hi,

I have a 2001 maxima, and i am about to install a Stillen v2 supercharger kit with a 3.33 pulley, i am aiming at 280-320WHP and about 260-280lbs/torque.
I am still on my stock clutch but i dont think it will live long with these numbers.

I am looking for a daily driver clutch with as light of a pedal feel as i can get. something that will last long.
also that slips well, and easy to start going. not an on or off type of clutch.

what do you recommend?

 

Clutch Masters, Exedy, or Spec. Check out their sites and the descriptions of each. I would say a stage 2 or stage 3 depending on driving patterns.

ok got a 95 max. stock but looking for a good daily clutch with a little extra grab. i had my eye on to clutches Exedy stage 1 or the competiton stage 1 gravity kit.. which one would be a better buy??

 

Go with the Exedy for sure. We have had more then a few problems with Competition Clutch.

How much lighter is the ultra SC for the 2000, and what Hp gains will I see? Also what is the max amout of hp/tq the exedy stage II clutch can hold? I have a stage 1 right now with the 12lb fidanza flywheel and its slipping bad.

 

The Exedy Stage 2 would hold 262 ft/lb HP.

The S is the lightest. You should get 8-12 HP from it. The Ultra SC is a little heavier so it won't add quite as much HP. But if you are running a supercharger or stereo system with an amp then you will want the Ultra SC.
