Unfortunately, that is all we have right now..... We are just trying to offer a cheaper solution to getting coilovers. Shipping alone on this is $50-$75 dollars. Its a very reasonable price in my opinion.

ohh...12/8...me want...but are they any good...? durable? lightweight? what kind of quality are the shocks and how are they adjustable?

so what does that put the harmonic spring rate ratio at...which determines the overall balance of the car?...

and to think I complain about my 450/350 spring rates...these are about 648 front 432 rear...my god...you would zero body roll!

No, we literally just got them in. We can not reveal the manufacturer but besides the obvious differences (camber plates, etc.) these are built to the same quality as the D2 and Ksports. As for weight, I do not have that information and I will try to weight them this weekend.

Weight compared to stock? Weight compared to Ksports and D2's?

How much total shipped to Canada?

What do you mean referring to the difference in the Camber plates?

Thanks. Very interested.

it depends on how you tune the struts...but no matter what you do with 12/8...your bladder and every other major organ won't be happy with you...

12/8 is going to be really rough, 9/6 is already rough enough, these are going to have to be used as track only purposes.. no way is anyone with less then decent roads are going to be able to stand these on a daily basis.

also no offence maxmojo, you have always offered us great products, but i don't like the fact that we can not know the manufacturer.. just doesnt seem right to me.

The reason I can not disclose the manufacturer is because of products they make for other companies. Similar products. These are "generic".

So they will come in a blank box and have no manufac. name on the product?...if people knew the manufac.. and it was a reputable company....people wouldnt hesitate to buy them

I don't see how that would help. People recognize brand names, not manufacturers. D2 is not a manufacturer. K-Sport is not a manufacturer. Neither are most of the other names people know.

That's the idea. Brand names are linked to quality manufacturing. Without a brand name people assume a lack of quality even though that assumption isn't warranted. Hopefully someone tests them out for you and can give them a review.

yea... actually lot of my friends in taiwan knows D2 are high quality stuff... in fact, one of my friend just put D2 coilovers on his 93 NSX.

i posted short ram intake w/ K&N filter on scion life and people doesn't believe how this intake will help, cuz they already spent $200+ on injen, weapon R, and TRD CAI. i tried to explain how that's not always true just cuz they have brand name.

again, i don't have the dyno on this so i will try to keep everything neutral...

u have Ksports? hrm.. i didn't know that.

well... i'm not really rushing to get coilover setup. i'm already on s-tech and looking for another step-up upgrade on my suspension that's all. the only reason i'm holding back on this is 12/8 and no camber plate. i don't mind stiff/harsh ride for daily driving... i mean, i rode on my friend's GSR w/ skunk2 coilovers on koni yellows. and those were REALLY stiff. he literaly had 0 body roll.

hrm...sure we can meet up or something.

I hope someone tests these mystery coilovers. Those spring rates would be a blast for the track but I can't imagine going though a bumpy intersection at speed. I'm staying tuned on this one.

That's fine. Stiffer is not a problem, on max stiff on my K-Sports is a really awesome ride actually. Only 1/4 of the time does my cd player skip just to give you an idea. These should be NICE handling, execept the camber plate part. Just get camber bolts.

I'll meet you at HIN if you're going.

Good News..

Been working with the manufacturer and I can get whatever spring rates people want but they need to be pre-ordered and will take a few weeks to arrive. So the price for this GD will be good for whatever spring rate you specify and will be ordered and take a few weeks to arrive.

Those guys may share manufacturing facilities sometimes, but they are definitely different brands with different products.

For some reason those coilovers remind me of Omnipower, although I can't imagine why those guys wouldn't want to be named if they were breaking into the Maxima market.

Those are some high spring rates though. The shocks would need some serious internals to keep that under control and not break prematurely.

Always good to have an alternative to the usual suspects though. I'll be following this product with interest....

EXACTLY... Surprises me how everyone says Ksport is better, D2 is better, etc....
They're just a different color....
Free bump for an excellent price!!
