GD: Rainbow SLC265 component speakers.

High end hand built components imported from Germany.

Website:
http://car.rainbow-audio.de/products...=2&pro=1&lin=7

More info:
http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=463520

These were compared to and prevailed over the $1000+ Focal Utopias in a Spain held IASCA sanctioned event, just to give a bit of detail for some that arent familiar with the name.

Anyone would be hardpressed to find a better set for the price even at MSRP.

GD is for minimum 10 people.

Price is $220 Shipped or picked up. 6% NJ sales tax applies for all items picked up.

Ill put up more info as the interest grows as well as answering any questions along the way.

Other sets are also available at a discounted rate for the duration of this GD. I will see how quick the interest grows prior to putting an ending date.

recommended power is about 70-125 watts rms per side daily. so that is a total of 140-250 watts rms for a solid frontstage.

alright just a little confused here. So does this include all four speakers with tweeters? Perfect for car door speakers (front and rears)? I need better quality speakers.

Plus i do have a JL in the back.

No, it is a component set. Two mids, Two tweets and two crossovers. This is nothing for the rear unless your getting that seperately.

Rainbows would be a nice upgrade from the JL's.

I have never heard an Rainbow subwoofer but IMO the Soundlines are better than any MB's I have heard. There is a post about it in the audio room. Which JL line do you speak of? I have no ear time on JL components but others might...

The Vandiums and Profis are some of the best subs I have Ever heard. Theyll get a bit loud, but everything in Rainbows lineup is purely SQ orientated. You be hard pressed to find a better more detailed/accurate sub in any price range than those listed above.

MBQ is a solidly built product, no denying that, but I as well as many others find them to be alot more on the harsh side and lack a bit of midbass. I personally dont like JL at all, so I wont comment on that one. What I will say is that there are quite a few people that have replaced their MBQs,JL and many other brands with Rainbows and never looked back.

It might I am not sure. They can be but you will not get anywhere near the sound potential you can. external amps can be had for cheap these days too.

Theyll handle the volume just fine. They enjoy a decent amount of power, but minimal is needed to get em going and really shine.
