I was playing around with 5k and 6k bul;bs next to my old 5k hella bulbs... check it out... I went with the 5k 9004 kit







1st pic is with the 6k techones on my drivers side and my old kit on the pass side
2nd pic is a side pic of the techone 5k =p haha
3rd pic is the techone 5k on my driversside and the old hella bulbs on my pass side

I would go with Jason on this deal. He gives you a 1 year warranty on everything and he's fast as hell with the communication. I purchased a kit from him because the price was good and he'a a reputable guy here on the .org. Also I purchased rotors/brakepads/brakelines from him a while ago and he was good with his stuff. The guy on Ebay doesn't give you a warranty and if you need help, would he be there for you? Thats just my opinion and .02.

those kits arent insulated very well, dont like getting wet and have a lifespan of like 2 months haha or until it rains... not having a 1 year warranty is like sleeping with a hooker with no rubber... you miiight get away with it but it sure sucks when you dont...

Quality difference, they are not water proof, even if they said they are, they aren't. Before I started selling HID's I did lots of research comparing different quality ballast, bulbs and such from over 10 different companies/manfuctuer. That type of ballast in the link you provided would fail after couple months of usage, bulbs won't match after couple of months, etc etc.

I tested Techone's kit on my own car for a while before I started to carry them, so I know they are reliable. The infamous saying "you get what you pay for!" it applies to HID's. I can get the same kit re-package and sell it for $120 shipped all day and guess what, after 1 month of selling I would be getting over hundreds of hate mails. With my customer service, I can't do that, it will create much more hassle for me to carry chepo parts =x.
