Does anyone have a writeup on how to install this kit?

 

I need to get an HID kit for my fogs on a 2003 max. 4000k kit. Does the kit come with the bulbs. ANy pictures or directions that come with it? I am interested will purchase today.

Jason, I was wondering what the difference in Quality, Lifespan and light output these kits put out compared to OEM. I am really interested and trying to make a decision. I see a lot of OEM ballasts for sale on ebay...that's why I'm asking? Thanks, Adrian

I assume, like always, these HID's are not street legal, correct? I love the look and performance of HID, but I'd hate to get busted because of them.

But again, is the quality of the kit and light output as good as OEM?

Will it depends on what you are comparing to, you can't compare cars with hid with out projector and with projector(as far as output, since most OEM HID equip cars has projectors). Their output is tottaly different. If you question is regarding the quality over all of our kit i can guarantee you. You will not be disappointed.
As far as output they are almost the same if you get the same K bulbs.

p.s OEM HID kit is not PNP, you'll have to re-tro fit them since they only comes in D2R/D2C/D2S/D4S/D4R, it will not be PNP to your headlights.

 

I'm in the process of my retro as we speak. Just got my R34 headlights, E46 projectors....just need the HID kit. Thanks for talking me through this, I'll do a little more research and let you know in a few days.

Looking for conversion kit for fog lights for the 6th gen . I think the original HID headlights are 4300K (correct me if I am wrong) and I am looking to match it with the same bluish tone so I guess 5000K would be great for me.

Do you have the kit in stock? What is the total $$$ with lifetime warranty shipped to NY 11214?
