Dave2112 - As far as I know, you can reuse your rad hose clamps, no problem.

To anybody ordering one of these rads, DO NOT OPT for the free shipping unless you are prepared to wait. Apparently the free shipping entails a Horse and Buggy across the country. Ive been driving around with a leaking Rad when I ordered and was told Id have it in a week. Got a tracking number from the guy yesterday and it seems Ive got another week to wait...11 days. Pay the extra money for shipping because apparently they dont.

Right, so I got my rad yesterday, UPS said there was a glitch of sort and the tracking was scewed up. Good news right? I ordered hoses and a thermostat which also came with the rad, but to my horror, they were just kinda thrown in the box with the rad and allowed to go all over the box in transit. So, Im sitting here right now staring at my brand new radiator that looks as if it was beaten with a baseball bat. There isnt a section of coil anymore on the motor side of the radiator that isnt bent. So, lets add ****ty packing to the list.

Im getting my radiator installed Monday. If the mech tells me its to damaged to install, I'll be sending it back with all the hoses and thermostat, in the same order it was recieved, which I think can be called extremely careless but typical of somebody trying to make a quick buck.

Still waiting for a response on this. I see that there are KOYO radiators on eBay for the 89-94 Maximas ranging from around $90-$120. I think it is the same or similar one that fits an N/A 90-96 300zx. Please quote me shipped price and availability to 32615 ASAP. My patched (JB Weld) radiator just started leaking again Thanks.

Is there much advantage to buying KOYO vs. ~$40 OEM replacement type on eBay?

Ordered a Koyo replacement for my 4th gen. It was delivered on the date promised with the free shipping.

The only issue I had was that UPS put a 10" gash in the box and did some damage to the fins. I contacted IMPORTRP promptly and they were willing to do whatever made me happy with regards to the radiator. We discussed a UPS claim and them sending a replacement out as my installed radiator was really starting to leak badly. Upon looking at the radiator in daylight, the damage looked to be minimal and was just some bent cooling fins. I did my best to straighten them out and installed the radiator yesterday with no issues.

I'd use IMPORTRP again.

Have you contacted ImportRP regarding your situation? My radiator arrived with some damage due to UPS and they were willing to work with me to make sure I was satisfied. Good luck and I hope your situation is resolved to your satisfaction.

mrkanda - Sent you a PM!

Dave2112 - Your order was placed on 8-28 and was shipped out on 8-29 (Friday) and was delivered exactly one week later on 9-5 (Friday). That is 5 business days, which is what it always takes from West coast to East Coast via Ground shipping...Regarding the packing of your items, I'm sorry if whomever here packed it didn't do a good job, please contact us directly if there is damage to any of the items and you want to see about getting a replacement.

Tripower - Thank you for your positive comments and support. We greatly appreciate your business!

I got the rad installed. There doesnt appear to be any serious damage other then the mass of bent fins. I didnt get a gasket with my thermostat/housing but Im not sure it was supposed to come with one. I didnt get any screws for my electric fans bracket either, the oems didnt fit so I had to get some new screws that fit. Other then that, it seems to be working ok.

importrp, according to the UPS tracking on the 5th day, the rad wasnt due for arrival for another week, which would have made it 11 business days. I ended up getting it that Friday, which was a week. I didnt expect it to be here in a day, the shipping was after all free, but again, I needed the radiator and according to the tracking it was going to take 2 weeks in total, not 5 days like you said. At any rate, I got it in the time frame you promised, extremely damaged, but I got it.

You should really talk to the people that do your packaging because honestly, that was insanely inconsiderate and thoughtless packaging. The hoses banged around in the box and the Thermostat housing (solid aluminium) came out of its box and was banging around in there with the hoses, which bent 35% of the backside of the radiator. I hope you can understand why I was so pissed off.

Dave2112 - I will talk to our warehouse employees about this. Sorry for the mistake in packaging. That isn't typical procedure here for how orders are packaged.

I have been looking for an all aluminum radiator for my 2k1, I only find oem, is there such a thing for the 2k1 maxima, I've search all over internet for quite sometime and could not find anything. My maxi is going to get FI so I want better cooling than stock.

I'm ready to buy and I can send the payment within minutes.

Thanks

AA

I am not aware of any fully aluminum raditors for the 2001 Maxima either, just aluminum cores with plastic end tank like the Koyo OEM Replacement Radiator.
