Cattman Performance December Exhaust Sale

December's here and its time to kick off the Annual Cattman Performance December Exhaust Sale. We're happy to offer the following discounted prices on almost all of the Cattman Performance exhaust line for the Maxima (headers being the notable exception). Most of these parts are only priced this low one time a year - NOW.

We're open 9-5 MST, M-F and our order lines are 520.575.6195 if you have free LD and 800.759.9920 and if you don't. Note that we will close at 6PM MST, December 20 and re-open at 8AM MST, December 29, which will be the last day of this sale (so please try to order before the 21st).

For the 1995-1999 Maxima and I30:
CP Y-pipe, reduced from $375 to $309
CP FastCat catalytic converter (does not include 95/96 Maxima), reduced from $260 to $219
CP Cattback Exhaust System, reduced from $640 to $529
CP B-pipe exhaust (front half of catback), reduced from $350 to $289
CP Muffler/rear section (back half of catback), reduced from $325 to $269
CP Header/Y-pipe System, intro price of $799, will be going up to $850. Accepting orders for January delivery - no payment until the part is ready.

For the 2000-2003 Maxima and 2000-2004 I30/I35:
CP Y-pipe, reduced from $375 to $309
CP FastCat catalytic converter, reduced from $255 to $209
CP Cattback Exhaust System, reduced from $640 to $529
CP B-pipe exhaust (front half of catback), reduced from $300 to $239
CP Muffler/rear section (back half of catback), reduced from $375 to $309
CP Header/Y-pipe System, intro price of $799, will be going up to $850. Accepting orders for January delivery - no payment until the part is ready.

For the 2004-2006 Maxima:
CP Cattback Dual Exhaust System, reduced from $850 to $729
[A new Cattman Performance Header/Y-pipe/FastCat system for the 04+ Maxima is planned for Spring '07.]

Non-Exhaust Parts
Save $100+ (10%) on all orders over $999, throughout the month of December. Limited to in-stock merchandise at regular prices.

NOTE 1: All exhaust parts include installation kits at no additional charge.
NOTE 2: The December exhaust part sale is NOT limited to in-stock merchandise. Not all parts in stock at all times, but we'll accept backorders at sale prices through 31 December, even if they're shipped in January.
NOTE 3: NO payments or deposits are required for backordered parts; we will only charge CCs when all the parts in the order are available.
NOTE 4: The retail prices above will be the new prices in January. We've held the prices steady for almost 4 years while absorbing big increases in costs, primarily the skyrocketing price of stainless steel tubing, and they've got to go up in 2007.

Brian,
So Full system exhaust going from y-pipe to the muffler tip, your part# CCES-G5B would be $1,047.00, correct? Any chance of lowering the price if all parts purchased together as a whole? How much would shipping be for the full system to zip: 18103 ?
Thank you.

You get a discount of $104.70 (10% of anything over $1000). So your total would be $942.30.

Glad to be of serivce.

So you are taking orders for headers? I thought there was some sort of a waiting list? Will you have enough stock to fill those and also new orders? Thanks.

With the increases in costs we've had over the last several months, we've cut prices to the bone. The current $1047 price for that complete exhaust is >$150 less than the increased price will be next month.

Shipping the y-pipe, cat, b-pipe and muffler to you from AZ will be $81.92, for a total of $1128.92.

Actually, that would only apply to "regular" rather than sale prices, as indicated. Our profits are so thin that I think I'd actually be losing money if I knocked off another 10%.

They are EPA-certified, 3-stage cats; approved for vehicles up to 3750lbs and 4.0 litres; registration card is in the box.

Begin the only 200-cell all-metal cat on the market to have EPA certification is one of several unique features of the FastCat. Its also the only one street-legal cat that makes any power on the Maxima.

We've been taking orders for months, we just haven't been promoting them since the production date has been indefinite. One they're in production, we'll keep banging them out in 25-unit batches, slowing down once the backorders are taken care of. There are about 35 orders right now, so the orders we're taking this week will come from the middle of the second batch.

Give us a call if you want a place in line, there's absolutely zero risk involved in waiting since we won't take any money.

2 questions... as far as gains... 1.These are going to produce around what? guestimate? wasnt it the stillen headers that actually lost HP?
2. Will sometype of A/F unit be needed to set the fuel strait?

This header system will add a maximum of 19-22 whp on a VQ30DE and 24-26 whp on a VQ35DE. That's on a car with typical bolt-ons, they'll do quite a bit better on a built or forced air motor.

I don't think the Stillen headers lost power, it was that they didn't make appreciably more power than a y-pipe. Their header runners were too short and extremely assymetric in length; they designed it to go with an existing y-pipe (which attached to the stock manifolds), which is like the tail wagging the dog - manifolds should always drive the design.

Fuel and/or broader engine management definitely can benefit performance, but its not required for these headers to operate properly.

Oh oh, I got my FastCat from you also, but never did anything with the registration card. I have no clue where it went either. What is that for and now what do I do, if anything? Thanks.

I've never actually known of someone sending one in, but they come with all EPA-certified cats. That may be something they do at dealerships or garages, but its not something the end user needs to be concerned with.

I think its main practical value is proving that the cat is certified to the buyer.

Brian, do you have anything going, sale-wise, for the 3rd gens? Was really hoping to get all new exhaust (y-pipe back) for my new "old" Max, since I bought a y-pipe from you a few years ago.

Sure. Rounding off to the nearest dollar, it will cost $72 to ship a full catback (2 big boxes) from Arizona to the East Coast.

Brian, I was wondering, will you be offering any performance parts for the 2002-2006, or 2007 + Altima's?

Its quite likely that we'll start offering some parts for the 02+ Altima during the coming year. That seems to be the direction that Nissan's going with sedan-based sport emphasis, so I suspect we'll do that too.

The box for the muffler is quite large, preventing us from shipping via USPS. I can ship this via FedEx Ground for $53.63.

Sorry I missed that earlier. We don't have any plans to make further exhaust parts for the gen3 Maximas. I don't mean to sound cold about it, but the numbers just don't work out. The problem is one of investment and return; I have to order at least 15 catbacks at a time and they will take too long to sell, in part because the price for a stainless steel, US-made system would be over $600.

The FastCat rides for free in the oversize b-pipe box, so cost of shipping the one large box is $28.52.
