Oh yeah, that was me, although I was actually speaking Dari, the Farsi dialect they speak in the 'stan. Let's just say that my life experience has not been limited to selling car parts

You do need new gaskets, and we we provide some, but I'll explain.

We provide the nuts, bolts, and the two gaskets required to attach the header manifolds to the y-pipe - comes with the kit, no xtra charge. No other fastener hardware is required, but there are other gaskets.

When we're doing header development, and taking headers on and off the car frequently, we never replace the multi-layer metal Nissan gaskets between the manifolds and heads (2) of between the y-pipe and cat (1). They're real heavy duty, and can typically be re-used multiple times.

But, this is on a relatively new Maxima and the installation process isn't that big of a deal for us. If your car is older, if you want to be absolutely certain everything seals up good, or if you're one of those guys who always replaces every gasket, then you'll want these additional three gaskets. We use actual Nissan metal gaskets and you can either get these yourself, or we offer the set for $39.

brian, i just got the control arm bushings, they look awesome. But I went to take it all apart and the one part I couldnt get out was the control arm ball joint that connects to the big knuckle. I read my haynes and it turns out that I need a special fork-like tool to kind of pry it out of there. Apparently this destroys the ball joint and I see that the boot is already ripped so i need to purchase some ASAP. Do you sell any of these? I didnt see them in the ad but i figured it was worth a shot.

Sorry I didn't see this sooner, its been a busy day. I'm not familiar with that assembly, so I can't offer first-hand advice, but it sounds like the parts you require will need to come from Nissan. The limited number of suspension bushings ES makes for the maxima are all included in the sale ad.

Just thought I would let you know that I installed my exhaust finished late friday night putting the intake and everything back on the car.Took it for a test drive and all I can say is WOW! Unfortuneatley it was raining at the time but still that didnt stop us from having fun. It pulls so much faster than before, and the sound is amazing I cannot stop smiling when I am in the car. The second time I drove the car a sentra thought we were racing it was so funny, but I am not the type of person that does that on the streets (too dangerous).

Thank you very much and it was a pleasure buying from you, and the product is simply amazing.

Hey Brian,

I have a 2000 Max. Are the Y pipes for sale? Didn't see it listed. I am interested in getting a Y and B pipe. How much shipped to 19148?

We're actually out of our Federal and CA/NLEV y-pipes for the 99-01 Maxima. Should have more later in September. We're almost out of 00-03 b-pipes and mufflers, should have more by the end of next week. We'd be glad to take an order so you get the parts when they're available. We won't charge the CC until the parts are ready to ship.

To answer the shipping question, shipping the b-pipe comes to $29.03 and the y-pipe is $19.88.

BTW, I tried to send this as a PM. You need to clean out your msg box.

Glad you're pleased with the result, Stephen, and even happier to hear that you don't street race.

We're sending two black Ts, with light grey graphics. Sorry about your gf's shirt, we don't seem to have anything smaller than Large. We'll get some smalls/meds the next time we order shirts because there have been a number of requests for smaller sizes.

Factoring in a recent price increase, minus the maxima.org discount, plus shipping from AZ to the east coast, you're almost exactly right - close enough.

We accept orders through PayPal when the parts are ready to ship immediately, but we're out of 00-03 mufflers until later this week and I prefer not to receive payment until the part's ready to ship. If you call, we'll take all of your order information, then when the parts arrive we'll whack your CC and ship the part. CC will work better on a parts backorder, but if you have to use PayPal, give us a call and we can make arrangements.

If you need to receive this part quickly, note that only a few mufflers will arrive this week, and most are already committed, so you'll want to contact us ASAP to get your order in queue. We'll be receiving more, but shortages in the material used to make the muffler cans has delayed the rest of the batch until next week.

Cattman, got my exhaust put on yesterday... I'm very satisfied with the way it looks and sounds. I was surprised how much louder it is than my dads catback he put on his 97. The only difference is that I have a y-pipe and he doesn't. It's still quieter than the custom exhaust that I had previously, so it's def. a keeper for that reason. Oh, and I got the shirts and drink holders as well

Glad to hear everything arrived and got installed. You are right, Y-pipes or headers always amplify the sound a catback makes, but that effect varies.

An otherwise stock exhaust system only gets slightly louder with a Y or headers. A catback system that's loud in the first place can become almost unbearably loud for a lot of people with a Y or headers. We try to target a "happy medium" - all the performance possible without excessive volume.

We're out of headers until the next batch arrives around the end of this month, so I'd encourage you to get an order in place so your name is on a set (we don't charge the CC till the parts are available).

Header is $859.99, which goes down to $817 with the max.org discount, plus $52.70 for shipping from AZ to you.

No sales right now because we've had a hard time keeping them in stock (and our margin on these is so thin, its hard to do much). I'll have more this coming week, and of course the maxima.org discount applies to bring the price down to $247, including hardware and $20+ in Nissan gaskets.

Yes, all of our b-pipes (and catbacks, in the case of the 04+ Maxima) include the 22" resonator we have custom-made. Its also sold individually (by itself, not tubing or flanges) to make another brand of exhaust quieter or as a component for a custom system.

BTW, we'd run out of almost all of our exhaust parts during the last couple of weeks, but we now have all mufflers. b-pipes, and entire catbacks for all 95-03 Maximas and 95-04 I30/I35s. We also have y-pipes for 02/03 Maximas and one y-pipe for the 95-99 Maxima or I30. New y-pipes for 04-06 Max 5As will arrive in the next few days.
