I am interested in buying the pioneer Avic-D3 system, but I have a 2002 6-speed already with factory GPS & Bose 6-Disc changer. How do I go about making it fit into my car?

I already bought a automatic climate control unit, I figured out all the climate control wires to fit into this climate control unit. So, factory GPS's climate control has been by-passed. Now, is there an adpater harness to make my factory plugs go into the pioneer Avic-D3 and worky worky?

Question like this may be technical, but I really don't like the factory system because it doesnt' play mp3's or DVD's at all.

The wiring harness is Metra #70-7550 is $15 extra.

 

just a little helpful information, if you have a bose factory system you will have to get new speakers and a complete re-wire.

Out of the cheaper stuff I would go with Power Acoustik. They have a good warranty and we don't have problems with them. Panasonic or Pioneer would be the best one to go with.
