I'm currently selling my D2's and need to take a quick decision, on a new suspension in the next few days. Just so you know, I went from a stock suspension set-up, to Max speed with stock shock and then I moved to D2 with all the ES bushing available, FSTB, RSB etc.
I have seen the benefit of coil-over, with the possibility of having the car at the right height and a much better handling, but at the price of confort and a lot's of bling bling.
The D2 where ok for what they are & the price. After using ES Suspension coil spring insulator, they where much less noisy, but still I had to re-adjust them often since the colar would always get loose, and the camber adjustment would also get loose and throw off my alignment. Now at 47, I no longer have the time or patience to spend my valuable time to fix those things. Maybe my expectations are too high, if so then maybe I will just get a set of illumina and a good drop spring and call it a day.
I want the best possible set-up for my ride, I want the car to handle better but not at the price of my kidneys. I also want to be able to adjust the height and foremost I want this car to be confortable so I can have a ride with my family without scaring them.
Also I definitely do not want a with pillow mount. I believe there is a flat top version for FLT-TAR VIP right ? is there any camber plate available for the JIC since I'd like to run a -.5 to -1 degree negative camber. Also what else would I need for the installation, I want to make sure I'm not missing a single part for the installations.
Sorry for the long post but I want to make sure I'm not skipping anything.
Regards
AA

JIC's website is misleading regarding the PBM's/flat tops etc option. From what I've been told, the JIC coilovers in question only come with PBM's (for our Maximas). No other options.
that is correct james, thanks for the help. pillowball front/rubber rear bushings only. you get yours on yet?
Life has been crazy lately. When I do put them on, I'll be sure to take lots of pics and post up my thoughts/feedback though. I anticipate w/in the next two weeks though.
