►►►LED's for your Maxima and other cars too!!!◄◄◄
Fact is most of the LEDs we carry get sold locally. We've only recently been able to get a few set aside specifically for online sales and we keep the webstore inventory as accurate as possible on those.
Could you email me the price for a full 2003 Maxima led kit and also a HID kit for a 1997 Maxima email: cjandura@verizon.net
I don't have a 100% complete listing on Maxima's (IE: there's no listing for the map lights on 95-99, but they're a single BA9S bulb the last time I checked). So I'm having to compile a list of specific bulb size/count for every year.
Easiest thing to do, is pop the panel out and do a quick inspection.
The completely ridiculously long list of what we can get is here (just ignore the pricing):
http://badablinghids.ecrater.com/c/1...lbs?&view=list
What is posted on www.3bspec.com is what we try to keep in stock at any given time. Everything else is based on what is demanded. Like... this guy:
http://badablinghids.ecrater.com/p/7...10-flux-3-watt << Too expensive to keep in stock normally, but is arguably the brightest LED bulb we've ever gotten. And I've gone through 6 different manufacturers on those and some are bright, some aren't, some are junk >_<
Are the vanity lights little fuse style bulbs (T6-31mm) or tiny push-in style (T5, think really tiny 194 bulb)? I think the Mini Cooper we had was the only time I ever saw a T5 as a vanity light. And I've got some of the BA9S coming in... should be next Tuesday. They're a 10-SMD style (6 around the sides, 4 on top). Should be a good, universally placed bulb.
Email being sent in just a couple minutes.

2003 Nissan Maxima (interior LEDs)
---------------------------------
Dome Light = DE3175 / Festoon 31mm << These are the ones in the middle of the car.
Step Courtesy Lights = 161 / T10 << Often in the doors. Check if you have them in the front and rear.
Trunk Light = 158 / T10
Map Lights = Unlisted. Pop the cover(s) off and see if they're a BA9S bulb (small twist in style), 194 bulb (small push in style) or a fuse bulb. << These are the lights up front.
Vanity Lights = Unlisted.
Dome Lights can be one of a couple different types:
http://shop.3bspecialties.com/3BSpec...31mm-6SMDA.htm
-- Those are a straight drop in style bulb. Sold in pairs.
http://shop.3bspecialties.com/3BSpec...11U-12SMDA.htm
-- These are universal panels. They come with little adapters to fit any fuse size (31mm-44mm), BA9S, and T10/T15 bulbs. Little guys are bright as hell, but depending on how many dome lights you have, may just be easier to use the T11x31mm-6SMD and be done with it.
Step / Courtesy Lights. Take a look at how the bulb goes in place, because this is going to be a huge determining factor here:
http://shop.3bspecialties.com/3BSpec...-LEDT10-1W.htm
-- Bright, 178-degree spread. May not be a good fit for the door lights though.
http://shop.3bspecialties.com/3BSpec...DT10-4SMDA.htm
-- Bright, 178-degree spread, shorter face so may work slightly better.
http://badablinghids.ecrater.com/p/7968449/t10-10-smd
-- Not listed on the 3BSpec site, but there's a couple lurking in the corner. Full 360-degree spread. These have held up despite the complex construction. Actual price is $8.99 a pair.
A panel may work well here as well, depending on the size of the housing. You need roughly the size of a stamp or your thumb, from the knuckle to the tip.
Trunk Lights.

Vanity Lights. Check these to be 100% though.

-- Almost always those. Sold in pairs.

What you gotta know is, Sylvania may tell you what bulb it is, but they won't tell you the body count or even which one it actually is if there's multiple bulbs listed. But I'll happily compile a list of recommended parts as the requests come through.

Map Light: Unlisted on Sylvania. (Lots of times this means it's a BA9S. On Nissan's they tend to be wired backwards. Best to use a panel LED if you need to swap the polarity.)

Oh god please don't ask me questions like that, they're loaded from the word go. There's a ton of combination's you can come up with price wise.

Map lights aren't documented on Sylvania. Likely a BA9S bulb, but potentially wired backwards. Use this:

In the event that the bulb is wired backwards, you can do so.

Alright. So RED is not available or it can be ordered, its just not in stock? What would the cost for an entire interior set be if red is available? What colors are do you stock? What is the cost of the white for the interior and the cost for stock exterior?
Not going to have red in stock.

Exterior: Not going to have anything in stock for this one.
I can get some reds into a stocking order, but at the very earliest, they would not show up for about 2-6 weeks. (Yes the window is that large.) There's no price difference, just a really long wait.
Primarily we're stocking white, but once we reorganize the inventory we can make room for blue since that's the most common one we get asked about.

In this situation, I go with a catch-all solution; this guy:
http://shop.3bspecialties.com/3BSpec...11U-12SMDA.htm
About the size of your thumb (from tip to the first knuckle) or a bit wider than a stamp and includes adapters for just about everything. Or did; this last 100 only comes with the 31mm, BA9S, and T10... They botched an adapter...
In the event that it is a BA9S bulb, first test to see if it works. If it does not, it's going to be one where you swap the positive/negative wires to reverse the polarity of the adapter. Sounds more complicated than it is, you're just switching the wires. Why? Because Nissan's have this funny thing where some of the BA9S (small push and twist bulbs) are reversed from everyone else. Why? Not a clue.
The Cree LED bulbs will literally cook themselves. They get hot enough on their own that they will short themselves out if they're on too long. We get guys that like using these things as parking lights (especially Chevy/GM's) and the occasional guy that will try it as a turn signal. Every time, something shorts out. Usually the top Cree bulb starts to blink.
For long term uses, I've had the best luck using any SMD bulb (1210 or 5050), or for something brighter than that, the 3-Watt/Flux variant.
Ironically, the 3-watt/Flux bulbs cost just as much as the Cree/SMD bulbs so people kind of look at me like I'm an idiot for even suggesting something that's not as bright. But I've got 3-Watt/Flux bulbs running around on cars here in Houston as brake/turn signal bulbs for over 2 years without a hiccup. That was on an '08 Altima where a guy put around 20+ coats of VHT Nightshade on his tail lights. It was the only thing bright enough to punch through the blacked out tail lights during any time of day or night.

The map lights aren't listed for an '02-03 Maxima, it's a BA9S bulb. Problem is, they're reverse polarity on Nissan's. Easiest thing to do is to use an LED panel and flip the positive/negative wires.
http://shop.3bspecialties.com/3BSpec...11U-12SMDA.htm
That little guy is about the size of a stamp and pretty bright for it's size. I do have some of the 16-SMD (5050) and the 18-SMD (1210) in stock as well.
Shipping would be $6 via USPS. $10 if you wanted it overnighted via UPS.

Don't have any of the 12-SMD panels in blue laying around. The 18-SMD panels are just a hair larger than the 12-SMD panels, so that's why we ended up getting all of the colors in those instead.
