Update: I damaged the 5th gen mould, I have since repaired it and have begun production again,... its been a long couple of days I must admit, I am taking a break tonight so I will be fresh to continue tomorrow. Thank you to all of you for being so patient. I am a 1 person operation, so again thank you for your understanding. I will be making a 2nd mould (improved 5-5.5 gen shroud ) I am also working on the 4th gen shroud mould as well, I am taking my time on it so it is done right the first time.

It looks great Brandon, I think I need to be hard on myself here in that those outer edges on the front of the shroud could be trimmed to match. I have a bunch of failed parts maybe I can put those to good use as a template if you will. Most importantly though do you like it?? This is the feedback photos I need so I can improve, so my hat is off to you Brandon Thank you for this!!!

Update: I have revised the design of the 5th gen shroud a bit to fit the maxima a bit better. consider it shroud 2.0 lol... For those of whom I just sent them to, if you can post up pics as you get them that would be awesome. This is also why I have not been on the last few days so apologize for that.

4th gen shroud update: I ran into a little snag with the shroud design I am still working hard on it guys, I guess the best policy and the right way to do this is, A) I let you all know when I finish the mould, and begin to take pre-orders then. B) take pre0 orders now and then every one waits until its done( with this case I would say 5.00 covers pre order costs and the rest in full when production begins. C) take full pre order amounts, hire some help, and get it done before summer is gone. Guys let me know what you feel is the right way of doing this part... I would like some feedback from you 4th genners here.

Jared, I am truly honored with your comment!!!!!

I really want this to work so I can provide you guys with a great product... anyone can make a "good" product, but I am not satisfied with that, yeah I am 1 person doing the work, but that does not excuse me from making a great part, the real people who benefit in that is you the customer utimately!!!

update: I am looking into a way right now for those of you who are hesitant in doing the "cash" or paypal to be able to use your credit (visa mastercard discover, etc), so if that is what limits you, Hopefully I can open up a door for you in that way.

I just found this GD and this is some amazing products you have going on. I will certainly be purchasing a shroud soon especially after all the reviews.

Doc, would you be interested in making the 3.0L engine "cover?" This would be the cover that bolts over the front ignition coils, that says "Nissan 3000 DOHC" or whatever. This would fit all 95-01's, and I would DEFINITELY be interested as it will also compliment the shrouds!

I prefer option A first, then B. Option C should not be considered.

No rush, just keep us informed.

I know you mentioned early on about eventually doing other gens, and I was wondering if you'd consider doing a CF shroud for a 3rd gen? Of course, you're a little far from me, but I'd certainly be willing to get any measurements you'd need.

Im Vary happy with it and it works real well to redirect air through my radiator. I found that out at a local track day last week. I will be sure to hit it with a temp gun next time so I can get a reading on just how much cooler the radiator is. Im sure on a hot day it has to be at least 5 degrees cooler after a 10 min session.

UPdate: I first must apologize to all who ordered in the last week or so. I produced a part that destroyed my mold (part damaged my mold beyond repair). I put my head down and solely focused for the last week and a half to have the 5th gen mold up and running again, after many days sweating, tears and blood too. I am up and running again. I know there are a few of you who just ordered around that time, I did not forget you in the least, production on the the 5th gen parts will be making your orders on Friday of this week. I will begin to take new orders for them at that point. Thank you guys for being patient, I do what I must to get these done for you, I work at a job too so they get to fit in the cracks of the schedule but not worry, come Friday for those who ordered, I will have them out to you in 3-5 days from then. One thing I can say though is the shine quality on this new mold far out exceeds that of the first run parts, so you are going to get a better product.

4th Gen shrouds: I have a prototype right now that I am testing, I am waiting for the donor car to arrive so I can test fit before I mold the parts so hang tight gang.

looks good Ershi, it seems to fit better, I would recommend taking off your radiator brackets and placing the shroud holes underneath those brackets for a cleaner look.

shrouds

doc its good to see that you are doing well with these!! I was impressed by mine and it was one of the first ones you produced. Things have definitely come a long way it seems like. Congratulations dude, and i am going to place another order or two for a couple of the 5th gen guys down here, and maybe a replacement for my two piece weave for a one piece for myself... how much are they shipped to 24141 again?
