no, you got the 9006 correctly, not the oring it's the tabs that lock into place, should be 3 tabs? one of them needs to be filed shorter. Thanks~

so the o-ring is not supposed to fit? Because it definitely is not the same size as the original one.

If the O-ring isn't fitting, that's because it's new and the plastic could be more solid, you could however swap the O-ring from your other bulb to this one if you can't softly force it in. if you are still having trouble, please take a picture of both your original bulb and our bulb side by side with the o-ring picture to info@hidextra.com and I'll have our tech here take a look and see what's the problem. Well its not just the o-ring, its the whole circle piece that the o-ring goes around. Can that whole piece be swapped too?

My 02 max already has the stock hid bubls and iam wondering if all i need is the bulbs, also for fogs on the 02 max does any one know what kind of bulbs the fog lights have.

 

i am also curious about that question. btw our OEM temperature is 4300K IIRC and
our fogs have H3 bulbs

if i buy 6k bulbs for low beams and H3 for fogs will they have same color?

If you car has HID stock then all you need is the bulbs,

as for your fogs, since 02 max's fogs were an option, if you have the fogs, then you need to consult with your owner's manual for the bulb type. Thanks`

Do anybody have pics of cutoff line for 94-96 max on stock headlights???

 

I recently received by new kit. I went to install them, and when i went to power them on, they didnt' come on. I tried both ballasts and bulbs, which still didnt' work. So i tried my one working h11 bulb and used it with th new ballasts, and it turned on. I also tried to use the new bulbs w/ my old ballasts, and they still didn't work.

If both sides don't light up, you need to do a polarity reverse. on the wire harness side to the ballast, if it fails, then you may have received a defective ballast , please email me your full name and order # to info@hidextra.com and I can get you instructions to get a new replacement part.
