Do you have any y-pipes for 2002 maxima's?

 

We make a y-pipe for the 02/03 Maxima, but not often because they sell very slowly. Most people go for the header/y-pipe combination because y-pipes make less horsepower on that engine (7-9whp) and header/y-pipe sets make more (22-25whp).

We only make the 3" now because it provides better performance and all the demand has shifted to that system.

This might sound stupid but please bare with me. Can the 3" exhaust rear section bolt up to the stock exhaust midpipes? Would they also fit 2.5" mid-pipes? If the answer is yes to these questions, how much for a 3" rear section shipped to 33461?

Not a dumb question. It might be possible to bolt the 3" muffler to a stock b-pipe, but we don't recommend it, we can't guarantee the fit, and we only sell a 3" muffler or b-pipe by itself on a custom order basis. It would probably work better with a 2.5" b-pipe, but I still couldn't guarantee the exact fit and it would have to be a custom order.

If you still wanted to do it, the rear section alone would be $425.

I see the 5th Gen 3" catback is in production and will be ready in January. I was on the list for back order but did not get any notification for the deposit (2nd notification). Just wanted an update. You did not need the deposits?

Things were delayed due to a couple cancellations, but I'm sending out an email tomorrow letting people know we're back on and will need the deposits shortly.

Mine is a bit scratched up and I might need to replace mine.

 

I'll have to check with my exhaust partner to see if he has any since we don't use a 3" flex in anything.
