AAron,

2 q's

1. Ive been trying to make a payment but i keep getting "ou must add funds to your PayPal account before sending more money." Im guessing you do not take credit card?

2. Do you have a combined deal with your NWP plain VIAS plate?

TIA, eagerly awaiting your reply, can't wait to buy these, been needing a project :P !!

I paid with a CC last night. I believe there's an option on the webpage to pay through paypal or debit card / CC. Aaron, same question as #2....although it might be a moot point for me having already ordered the spacers. I spaced ordering the VIAS plate.

As Tim mentioned, you can either pay by signing into your Paypal account or you can not sign in and simply pay using a credit card.

I do not have a combined deal going on with the VIAS Block Plate Kits. But if you order them together, they will be shipped in the same package and you will save a little money on shipping. Shipping for just the Spacers is $10.00. If you add the VIAS Block Plate Kit to your order, shipping will be another $3.50, instead of $6.00 if you ordered it separately.

If you still would like to order then together, it's not too late since your package is not expected to ship until this Friday. If you place your order for a VIAS Block Plate Kit, I will be happy to give you a refund for $2.50 for your over payment in shipping costs and they will ship in the same box.

The whistle is a common occurrence with the FWD VQ35 with Intake Spacers. Whenever you modify the intake tract, your intake noise will change. With these Spacers, half the VQ35s experience a whistling noise at partial throttle in midrange.

Just make sure your idle is nice and smooth and the car accelerates smoothly.. If it does, then you know the whistling noise isn't caused by an intake leak.

Every car with a cone filter I've driven will have some type of whistling noise already. But, by installing these Spacers and reducing turbulence, the whistling noise is sometimes more pronounced and easier to notice.

Another question Aaron:
now that i been driven the car for a couple days i notice that the lower rpms are not as quick as they were before, only on like 1st gear and from the 1000rpm to like 3500,after the 3500 rpms pulls like crazy, very fast. is this the down side from the spacers losing some low end rpms for the top end??? im very happy with the spacers and how the top end is so fast but im just wondering if this is they way it is.like i said i dont have any weird idles or anything at all.

The Spacers should increase HP in low end and midrange HP below 5K rpm. You should not notice a decrease in power below 3500rpm. Is your idle nice and steady? If so, then you probably don't have any intake leak issues. I would recommend doing all 3 of the procedures outlined in the instructions. If that doesn't clear up your low end power issue, then reset the ECU and see if that helps.

Did you remove the VIAS by any chance? If so, then that will definitely hurt your HP below 3000rpm.

Your car is the fastest the way you have it set up. But if you want your low end power back, you can reinstall the VIAS. Your power below 3K rpm will be restored, but you will lose some top end. I recommend to keep it the way you have it though if you want the best overall acceleration.

The learning procedures aren't neccesary more than likely, but they never hurt.

I ordered late Monday afternoon and I am just checking to see when spacers will ship. Trying to plan out next week. I am taking time off work and plan to do LCA-balljoints/ES bushings/in-out tie rods/sway bar stuff. All the Moog and E/S parts are sitting in my garage. I have new spark plugs and 6th gen rear value cover waiting for the spacers to arrive. Arrival of spacers late next week would be ideal. Thanks again for the great deal and useful products! Merry Christmas!

There is a large batch that is expected to ship today. The majority of people should receive their packages by Tuesday.

Thank you for everyone's business! I will leave this sale open until at least midnight tonight. It's possible it may last through the weekend depending on how many orders we receive but please do not rely on that.

good to know, thanks. i have had very suddle idle issues, and two times it was enough of a surge to have it even stall right after startup, maybe I do have some kind of little intake leak. Hopefully this will resolve that.

It's possible you have a small intake leak, especially if you've ever had your intake manifold removed before. Also, check your vacuum and breather hoses. It's easy for them to get old and cracked and start leaking. It's a good thing to replace the hoses anyway while the manifold is remove.

It's ok. The list was just to give me an idea of the amount of interest. Nobody was under any obligation when they were added to the list since it wasn't an official group buy.

You're welcome. Let me know if you have any questions about the install.
