Of course as usual, I think I'm the only one who gives a damn anymore. Count me down for one of both. So do we need to get 5 people then pay?

Well crap. Really doubt this is going to happen. We barely got any people in the actual 3rd gen forum. I really didn't even know this group section was here til the other day. I doubt any 3rd genners will bother to look here.

Any chance they could modify the hood and/or trunk lid a bit if I wanted to do custom R34 Skyline tails and possibly headlight conversions? I guess fiberglass would be more modible.
|
i provided the carbon/fiberglass manufacturer with my oe hood and oe shaved trunk. they cannot modify it to make a custom one. That would be up to you.
$450 fiberglasss / $650 carbon. also since the trunk is shaved there will be no keyhole on the trunk (just have to open from inside) and the coil springs that are attached to the trunk hinges will be too much pressure for the lighter trunk (cf or fg) so you need to remove each spring from each latch to prevent the trunk slingshotting open. if i had like 10 people, we can talk about options. Right now we have only 2, so feel free to join the club. |
Wish I could help, have been a bit busy with life for....I dunno, years. Why don't you guys branch out to other forums where maxima lurkers have hidden themselves? What with the pretentiousness of half of your current members, and arguing over semantics in the forums, you think we all stuck around here? :)
Good luck, and if I win the lottery (or just pay the taxes I owe) I'll buy a set. |
looks like we might have too . . just no action in here

I'd be interested in the fiberglass trunk. Any images? Are these going to require installaton of the oem deflector (name?). Or is the design so that the rear of the trunk is "stock" looking? Do these come pre-drilled for for spoiler?
|
i'll give it a few more days and going to close it due to lack of interest.
|
Shame. SMH.
|
I'm in for a cf hood. Hopefully this will help get this thread a stay of execution.
