RSI Motorsports HID Kits starting at $67.99 with 5 year warranty

Just a quick intro. My name is Ryan and I run RSI Motorsports. we are a new vendor to Maxima.org but I have been a long time member as I used to drive a turbocharged 99 autotragic maxima.

Anyway, as a new vendor we are offering our products to the forum members at a great price.
All Maxima.org members will get an extra 10% off of our already low prices.

Use coupon Code: maxima.org

Products we offer:
35W Digital AC HID Kit 5yr wty: $67.99

we also have Slim ballast upgrades, 55W ballast upgrades, and Digital Canbus ballast upgrades on all our kits. We only use high quality digital AC ballasts, not the cheaper DC ballasts that 80% of HID vendors sell.

As a special Promo, we are going to give away one of our kits to the first person that sends us a PM about the Free HID Kit offer. We are only giving away one, so the first PM we receive will get the kit. All we require is that you post up some pictures after you install it and let us know how you like the kit as well.

www.Xenon-HIDs.com

use the shop by bulb feature as we are changing up the rest of our page a little.

Alright guys so I got my kit and so far, I'm impressed with how everything looks. They were packaged extremely well and came pretty quickly. I actually used to buy/sell these exact kits back in the day for $84 shipped with only a one year warranty so for $68 plus that extra 10% off with a five year warranty, it's a fantastic deal. I still have my old kit somewhere and it still worked after four years! Anyway.. onto some pics..

I had a pic of the box but it somehow didn't upload properly from the cam. Here's the box opened up:

You see the instructional booklet and wires hanging around in the styrofoam. I skimmed through the booklet and it has some grammatical errors but it is in English and is easy to understand.

Once you remove the booklet and styrofoam, the bulbs, ballasts and brackets are revealed:

Here's a close up of one of the ballasts:

It's the standard size and 35W but slim and 55W ballasts are available.

Here's a close up of one of the brackets:

They wrap around the ballasts perfectly.

Here's a close up of one of the bulbs:

This is a 5000K H3C bulb. It is infact shorter than the standard H3 HID bulbs so it's perfect.

Here's a close up of a bag of nuts, bolts, washers and screws that are included:

Now, I know exactly how these kits perform and they've never let me down (I've never even had a customer come back to me with an issue) but what will be the big test for me is if the 5000K is actually a pure white. I'll see when I have a chance to install them in my reverse lights and will write an updated review on the color output.

I look forward to your review once you get them installed. The H3C bulbs are 4mm shorter than the regular H3 HID bulbs. The kit we shipped Chrisman287 had to be directly shipped from the manufacturer but for other more common bulbs they will ship from a warehouse in California. The boxes that come from the California warehouse are just a little different and I will be posting up pictures in my next post.

All the kits we sell and buy utilize Digital AC ballasts. When you shop on price alone and buy kits that run $30-40 they all use a DC ballast, now some will be Digital DC Ballasts but DC ballasts are the cheapest thing you can get when it comes to HID lights. I can buy those cheap DC Kits and sell them for under $40 if I wanted to but I believe in offering a quality product that will last many years instead of maybe 1 year. I will post up pictures comparing the internal parts of a DC Ballast and AC Ballast. DC Ballasts will typically last only one year, you might get a little more use out of them but the majority of DC HID Kits will fail within a year. The reason being is that DC Ballasts electricity flows in one direction, DC ballasts will make positive Ions run to the negative side and cause it to get hotter and brighter on that side. What happens when one part of the bulb runs hotter well it will fail prematurely and your HID lamp will short out. With AC Ballasts the electricity flows in both directions which gives you even wear and the bulbs run cooler giving you a more accurate color and longer life.

If a seller does not list if their ballasts are AC or DC then 99% of the time, they are the cheaper DC ballasts.

We carry all the available bulbs: H1, H1C, H3, H3C, H4, H7, H8, H9, H10, H11, H13, H16(5202), 9004, 9005(9011), 9006(9012), 9007, 880, 881 etc.

Bulb Colors: 3000k, 4300k, 5000k, 6000k, 8000k, 10000k

We personally do not recommend anything over 6000k as the higher you go up in color the less light output you get. You will also attract a cops attention the more blue your lights are. We will sell the higher kelvin colors but would recommend 6000k or lower for the best light output. More pictures to come in my next post

We have access to 75W HID Kits but not 100W. I would actually recommend against anything above 55W for car applications and I only recommend the 75W kits for Off Road vehicles. If you really do want a 75W kit, I will verify the price and get back to you. Also with the 03 Maxima they have stock HID's already so were you wanting them for the low beam or high beam?
