Here’s a link to a field study that was done with AMSOIL ATF and engine oil in a Las Vegas taxi fleet…the conditions the vehicles endure out there with the heat and traffic are as severe as it gets, yet the drivetrain components of these vehicles remained essentially free of wear and deposits even with (greatly) extended drains on the lubricants.
