i'm so glad i ordered the key before i took everyones orders..
the dealer sent the wrong key. there are 2 Nismo keys and the one i received was the longer key of the two. i had it cut and it fits the ignition but it wouldn't work in the drivers side door (its like 1mm too thick).. i'm calling them later tonight to yell a little bit. i'm going to get the right key... sorry for the wait.

 

thanks for taking the time to actually test the key before mass ordering.....nissan made me a key that had the word nissan on it...and it only fits the ignition, doesnt fit the door or trunk, it looks like it is a little bit too short....not thick....

One thing I have not seen, is this for any Max? I have a 5th gen with the chip and was wondering if it would work for me? Seeing as I have to replace the factory key anyway..don't ask...40 buck aint to bad

 

yes, it is for the maxima, but it will not work on your 5th gen w/ the chip.. sorry..

a cool thing about the key is it attracted a few girls over to me when they saw the key on my ring.
