I am making this thread a sticky untill we get a good FAQ written.
Please post any info on cefiro parts avaiable for the I30/35. Keep general modification information in other appropriate threads. Posts with direct questions on these parts are allowed, just no posts like "wow, I got to get me some of that". I will be deleting previous posts that don't contribute to the topic. Hopefully we can get an accurate list of what is available for us.

I have some of the cefiro parts. I have the headlights, gauge rings, Chrome polished kickplates, and have had 2 grills. The cefiro grills look cool and unique,but I always go back to the stock grill. I think it looks simple and clean, I just cant part with it.

Edit: I do not sell Cefiro parts, I got them from Sycefiro just like everyone else.

 

I am thinking of putting a 98-99 taillight panel on the back of my car, then shaving it all. Here is a photochop done by me to I30MikeD's car. I changed his taillight panel, and shaved everything. I couldnt match some of his colors so you can tell where his emblems were. Just give me your opionions. I have a Tan 1997 I30 with no spoiler. If you have an actual pic where someone did this then please post it.

 

Cefiro one-piece headlights, chrome gauge rings and emblem.

Has any one gotten the front end splitter from SY? I had a few questions about it.

 

Sy has the only one with pics on his car. Im not a huge fan of the splitters without a body kit.

 

I have the one piece headlights.....makes a world of difference on a '96 from the foggy stock ones

 

I have a set of splitters I bought from him. I haven't put them on my car yet. I was waiting to have my car repainted to put them on. I've also seen his pretty up close (I took the Pictures). It looks ok but they angle up almost like the front of a snow sled or snow ski. So I'm thinking that it would be better to use them for their fitment and angle and make my own out of fiber glass.

 

I like the 96-97 a lot more than the 98-99 because of 2 reasons

1. I like the lighter color of red on the deck lid
2. I like the the "infiniti" spelling on the top of the platic rather than on the lower half.

my question is can you shave the letters off the plastic? or are they molded on?

They can be shaved. They are just like the other emblems. The reason my "I" fell off is because I started to shave the I. I had barly loosed it then decided to leave it.

 

this is great. SyCefiro has these chrome deck lid trims that go on the bottom of the trunk lid. That say infiniti or Cefrio I was going to buy one but I didn't know. I think they will look SWEET.

 

Do you have any pics of this? Ive never heard of this thing before, sounds interesting.

 

I don't he didn't have one on a car. He just showed me how it would look. Can you visualize what I'm saying though? The piece of chrome filled in piece of painted metal below the red plastic trim to the bumper and the whole length of the trunk lid. then in grey letters it said INFINTI, and another said CEFIRO. So you could have either.

 

i definitely need the cefiro badging...anyone know where to buy besides Sy?

 

I've had the car 2 weeks now, and already I want to get rid of my 96/97 tail lights and go to the much more attractive 98/99 design... anybody have part numbers and approximate cost for the conversion? Should it just bolt right on, lights and all, or are there wiring differences?

They bolt right in with existing bolts and wires. Im not sure of the part #'s but make sure you order one through a discount Infiniti dealership. My local dealership is a rip off and they dont know what im talking about 99% of the time.

 

searching the net last night and found a pic of an i30 with the center vertical pieces of its grille cut out and a black "mesh" grille in its place. the outside rim of chrome was still in place but no infiniti emblem at the top. to say the least i love it. have you heard anyone doing this or aftermarket products having this type of effect? i have the poor quality pic but unable to post it. someone please help!

Hmm, I did not notice the grille when I frist saw the pic in that thread. Pic is a little small to see how it looks up close.

But, I have a better Grille that might interest you..but this is BIGGER than your normal size infiniti I30 grilles and it'll cost more--> like $299(grille)+$40(wing emblem)+s/h... too much $$$

As you can see from the signature kit or even this kit:
People in Japan like to convert JDM to USDM (they don't have the I30 front and rear bumper for Japan.) just like we in the US like to convert to JDM. Therefore, that bumper is very much identical to the US bumper except it's a little lowered. There is no kit for that, and it's a full bumper replacement.

As far as the front kit, I am working on a kit that is ONE PIECE instead of the 2 piece splitter, or a THREE-PIECE kit instead of the 2 piece splitter. I will keep you updated as soon as I have them samples (*mid or late Januaray).

I have few chrome accessories. I dont' think many people are big fans of CHROME trims on the inside or the outside of the car. Here is a list of stuff I have for A32 and A33 I30's:

THATS THE GRILLE I WANT! SYCEFIRO if you can get us the hook up i'd be interested...299+s/h seems a little steep, if you can bring that down or know some connections, perfect. is there anyway to get the mesh blacked out? i have a black i30 and i've seen the mesh blacked out and it looks tight. i'm just curious about that center chrome "support", does that come off? i like the mouth look more. sorry for the questions, just excited to find a sweet mod that i can actually get my hands on from japan.

In Japan (& most countries),they have discontinued A32 productions, so parts and accessories are hard to get:

The VIP Sports Grille w/o emblem is $299+s/h

Yeah, they also have the one with OPEN mouth look (no center vertical piece) But they have to be customized, you'd better pre-pay for this if you want it that way. If you want the mesh to be black, yes it's possible or you can just paint them yourself.

One more thing is that THIS VIP SPORTS GRILLE is BIGGER than your infiniti grille. And YES, they will fit on your I30 without any modifications.

If you want you can always make them yourself so it's cheaper (DIY is the cheapeset). Just take off your stock OEM infiniti grille and cut off all vertical grilles and put black mesh's on it. It'll look good too!

PS. I also have one VIP OEM CEFIRO front grille all chrome(no mesh but vertical grille pieces with Nissan wing emblem) for $299 shipped. You can make it yourself so it's cheaper?!

 

I also have some other (JDM A33) grilles available that's not a perfect fit for A32 but will go on A32 I30's with some modes (but still NOT a perfect fit). See this photo below:


But, unfortunately, these JDM A33 grilles will not fit the A33 I30/I35's here in the US.. it can be made to fit but not a perfect fit.

 

SY..curious how big the circular cefiro emblems are, and if they would fit on front right and left quarter panels, kinda where side markers go? thanks

I think it's kinda big to put on the fender where side markers go. But it's cool though. If I was to put it on the front, you can fit it on the hood, or in the rear center of the trunk where the trunk infiniti emblems go.

SY, can you get the Autech grill (black mesh grill, with body color outline), I would want the normal size grill cause it just slides in flush with the car body.

I would like to see pics of the 1 piece splitter that you are working on. Could you get the signiture kit rear spoiler this summer? I love that spoiler, but I have been planning on getting one this summer.

 

Which rear spoiler are you talking about?
1. The bumper is actual bumper replacement (looks like they have the same bumper as US spec but molded some stuff on the two side to make it look lowered).
2. The rear spoilers for the trunk? Lip wing?
They are available now (I have one each on my hand, A32 and A33).
The A32 is pre-painted in Metallic silver color, but you can paint them to your body color.
The A33 is not painted.

You can take the A32 wing soon after I trial fit them on the other Maxima's. This will go on your trunk without any modification.

I can get them in chrome frame and aluminum color mesh, and you can paint them yourself (have a body shop paint them for you). This would be cheaper. (If I get them prepainted, it might be hard to match your body color, 'cause they have different color codes. And it might get chipped from shipping and stuff). Let me know so I can order them for ya

I was talking about the rear spoiler on the trunk. Would you be able to get the spoiler this summer, or is this a one time thing. Id really want to get it, but id prefer to wait till the summer when I get my higher paid job back.

These are Red/Diamond_Clear.. all the way around.. different from the 98-99 I30 Tail-lights, using the same 4 bolts and wire-harness.

They are similar to the Audi A6's trunk Chrome Trim.
So by looking at the photos that SLCI30T provided on the above link.... The chrome pieces will fill up the whole space right under the lower center trunk lid.

I will take some photos next week....
