Infiniti G35 is FAST!!

i test drove one 2 days ago, and i cant stop thinking about getting one now...i gave it like 60% from 50-95 in 3rd, i didnt even know i was going 90, i thought iw as going like 75 until i look down at the speedometer. manaul shift mode is nice as hell, i played with that the whole testdrive, on the highway and regular streets.

i gotta get one of those, will look good with the max

As soon as I finish school I will get a slightly used, probably a year or two old G35 coupe 6-speed.

I like your style

I've seen 2 coupes on the street. Damn they look good in real life. The pictures only give it 60% justice. Almost got into an accident staring one down

The coupes are all over the place here. I test drove the G35 sedan a couple times when I got my I35, but it just doesn't "seem" that much faster than my I35. I have feeling that the coupe is probably significantly faster though.

Time to call my salesman and get a test-drive again

Yeah, they are fast and fun to drive. Me + 19 years old + G35 loaner + best friends + a little bit of sensibility = fun. And no, I didn't do donuts with it, I didn't do any "*******" stunts with it.

Not saying that it isn't faster, but that it just doesn't "seem" that much faster. Have you driven one?

I know what the published figures are for it, and it's pretty fast. I also find it odd though that many people with automatic G35 sedans aren't getting times close to what the published figures are. On the other hand, I'm sure that some are doing better. I've done better times in my I35 than what's been published, and I'm still bone stock.

255 hp FWD I35 vs 260 hp RWD G35. Performance dynamics should be different, but straightline?? Different, yes. Dramatically different? I don't think so. Oh yeah, the I35 is somewhat hampered by the old 4 speed auto whereas the G35 sedan gets the new 5 speed auto. Still, the G35 should be better straghtline, but not worlds apart.

Now there's the 280 hp G35 Coupe. RWD with a 6 speed Manual. Dramatically different? I woud think so, oh yes
