Anyone notice the GD for I30 Carbon-Fiber hoods

Hey did anyone notice the Group-Deal on 96-99 I30 Carbon-Fiber hoods.
--I think it was posted back last summer by TBNismo.
It only got 1-reply but I think now it would have more interest.
Anyone know of anybody w/an I30 CB-hood?

I dont think there would be enough interest to get the deal going. If you really wanted alot of weight reduction and to be fast then you would be better getting a maxima. They are already lighter and u can get a CF hood. Also it would be expensive because it would have to have a 90 degree curve to where the grill is. I dont know how well that would hold and it would be hard to make.

I agree, I don't see it happening. No way would I put a c/f hood on my luxury car.

Ive seen plenty of 90-degree bends on CF hoods, like on an Audi A4, and numerous BMWs w/ and w/o grills.
