I just got an email this morning with a delivery confirmation number. So, if not already, they should be on their way.

wow talk about fast service...

i got the email with tracking number last night

and i was thinking i would get it by this week....

and what do i see waiting for me after work.... Bam!!!!!!
it's the clear light.... looks pretty damn good for $60....
money well spent.... only problem that i had was one of the back one didn't fit well so i had to play around with it and i put some clay and mold it little and it fits good now.... i just hope it don't fall out when i'm driving....... also the metal connection tip for the front was too big so i had to use the dremel to send it down...
but other then that... it looks sweet... can't believe it even came with light blub..... i might have to change out the blub with super white or something so that i don't get pulled over...

You shouldn't. Honestly guys, I got my own pair from the group buy, and was wondering how you are going to connect the wires, since you have to splice them somehow. The connecting part from the clears is different then stock.

i don't know about the I30's but I35 the rear clear light connection for wires were perfect and for the front u just need to trim the tip and make it narrow so i didn't have any need to splice the wires..

just take the orginal light cover off and insert the new clear light on and put them back on ur car and it's ready to go...

simple as that... but like i said earlier post....

the front wire needs to be trimed to make it more narrow so it will fit into the factory harness.... other then that no other prob...

I've done several neon light installs and stereo installs, etc. But in the low light in that parking garage I for the life of me could not figure out how to wire those new bulbs and sockets up.

Thus, I did this: I took the original "Ichikoh" bulb sockets and cut off the smallest opposing tabs on each side of the cylinder. I then changed the clear bulb to the blue bulb, and added an extra rubber o-ring (from the aftermarket bulb sockets) on each. Voila...no wiring modification, and they fit snug.

They look awesome! But way too illegal now haha! I need to get some amber bulbs in a bad way. (FYI - I kept the rears Red).

Ill admit even though I helped get you guys the corners, I might put mine own pair in this weekend (pictures were demo) Anyways, if someone wants to do a writeup with pics to show how to connect new corners that would be great. Others besides me are also having difficulty. No one took pictures yet?

Hey John, thanks for the idea about cutting the tabs off. I did that and the fronts are on. looks good. i didnt use the blue blubs that came with the set because they were too blue for me. i had some polarg hyperblues from back in 99 that i had on my maxima and put those on and they match close to my zenons. i'll take pics soon.

No problem bud. Until someone shows me a good way to wire those aftermarket sockets up, I think that's the best method to use (considering weatherproofing of the connections and all).

the back fits perfect it's just the front that needs little work...
and only work that is needed is to make the wire tab smaller to fit in the original part....

here are the pictures since people wanted to see it.. i just took it and it was dark so can't really see well but i'll try to post picture again from day time..

yes u can.... i asked a person that installed my car alarm and they said they can hook up a wire so that when those wires are cut or removed alarm will go off..... and i have also tied the clear corners by plastic wire wrap so that if they happen to fall off disconnect the wires while i'm driving it will still be hanging..... so that i don't lose it... since it happened in the past with my other car....

damn it started to rain today.... b 4 i can get those clear light sealed.... anyone know of good seal that can be used to seal the clear light?
