Time for an engine tune up.... in need of some 411...
Hey guys,
Yes yes yes, it's that time again. It's time for me and my car visit Mr. Shop for a Tune up. My question to those who have experience with this:
1- Should i, get all original stuff for tune? Yes or No & why?
2- If other company then which and what reason....?
* Just to make something clear, i don't have any performance stuff under the hood. I like luxury and i want for my car is to run a bit faster and more economical. Know, i know that both of those things will happen when i do the tune up. But maybe someone can recommend some other brand of equipment to use in order to get better results.
Thank you for your help (everyone)
Mikey

Just make sure they use the stock plugs. NGK platnium of coppers.
As far as a basic tune-up goes there is nothing that will really give you any performance gains over stock. It will just keep things running the way they should.
You might want to look into doing some of the things yourself. It is much more of an acomplishment knowing how to work on your car. There is a huge amount of info on this site to access. If you need any help just ask.
